"All right, you're all good to go," the nurse said.

"Thanks for your hard work," an elderly voice said.

"Director Goodsky, wha-what are you doing here?" came the nurse's frantic response.

"*Chuckles* I heard that one of my students went berserk for a short period; I came to check up on young Conley," Cynthia said, making her way over to us.

"Thank you for your concern but I am fine ma'am," Conley said stiffly.

"It is of no issue, after all your well beings are my responsibility," she said as everyone else began to take their leave. "Arthur, stay behind a bit would you."

"Ah, yeah sure," I said not knowing what the old fox was up this time.

"So I'm certain you know of his abilities as well as deduced the reason for his outburst?" she questioned.

"Yes, he most likely went berserk because he harmed or killed someone by accident when he was younger," I said, stating my hypothesis.

"Hmm, more or less," she sighed, "In addition to Vanesy's meditation classes with him I was hoping to find a deviant or two to take him under their wings..."

"I'll see what I can do, but why do you think he would take me up this offer?"

"Because he has nothing to lose..." she trailed off.

"That bad huh?" I asked receiving a sorrowful nod.

"Ahh! I'm old for depressing shit like this!" Cynthia exclaimed.

"I'm guessing the stress of being the directress of Dicathen's most prestigious academy," I teased.

"Well, when one of your students goes and beats a professor to a pulp what do you think happens; especially when it was posted on social media?" Cynthia asked with the sass of a 14-year-old schoolgirl.

"I'm quite certain that 'Teacher Gets Beaten by Student After Going Berserk' sounds a lot better than 'Teacher Harms Student; Are our Kids Safe!?' or..."

"I get it, I get it," she said waving the matter off. "But now I need a replacement teacher," she smirked.

"Nope, not doing it," I said immediately shutting her down.

"What?... Why not?" she asked sounding as if I just killed her favorite puppy.

"Honestly you would think that you're a child by the way act. I'm far too busy making all the last-minute preparations for the invasion."

"I guess that's true, but that still doesn't solve my problem," she mused.

"Gramps has a friend called Camus; he should be an excellent teacher. He was blinded in the last war but thanks to his use of wind magic he is able to navigate the world through the use of radar akin to detection magics. He is also strict but not overbearing, patient yet he knows when to push his students. The act that he is elf could also be a good show of fate."

"Is that all? There must be some other reason for you to recommend him," she asked skeptically.

"It's like everyone nowadays is a detective," I sighed.

"Not really, you're just pragmatic with your solutions, so I just assumed this was you killing two birds with one stone," she explained.

"You see I'm giving the radicals a target, something to focus on so that they will be easier to keep track of," I said.

"And you really think something so simple is going to work against a Vritra?" she asked in a doubtful voice.

"Yes, yes, I do. The Vritra and by extension the Asuras all see us lessers as ants, mere insects that can't pose a problem to their plans. Because of the power difference, they won't even think to question your true objective. This is why I say even though Agrona is weak compared to Indrath he is still far more dangerous."
