Arthur's POV
"Let's address the matter of radical racists first, seeing that this could cause major problems in the future," I said kicking off our discussion.
"I still don't see how a couple of wayward brats can cause any major problems for us," Blaine said.
"While the kids themselves aren't the issue it's who's backing them."
"I don't think there is anyone with sufficient strength to rival the Royal Family," Varay pointed out.
"Not from our continent," I said earning more confused and somewhat worried looks.
"You mean... people from the other continent... t-they're already here?" Blaine asked as the blood rushed from his face causing him to look as if he were on the verge of a panic attack.
"Calm down it's not that bad since we know what they're up to," I said making calming hand gestures. "Cynthia, would you care to explain how long Alacryans have been in Dicathen?" I asked just to annoy her.
With a glare sent my way, Cynthia began her explanation. "To begin with I am a former Alacryan spy, sent by the High Sovereign, to weaken this continent's defenses. OF course, as you can see I'm doing just the opposite of that," she said gesturing to the outside window that had a view of nearly all of the academy. "Spies have been here decades ago, slowly rooting themselves in various places of power waiting for the right time to turn this on its head."
"If what Cynthia says is true how can we possibly find all these spies?" Bairon asked, as all the cogs in his were turning at full speed in hopes of finding a plausible solution.
"We're getting off-topic, while I do I have a solution to the spy situation we have yet to discuss how we are going to dissuade radical behavior."
"Ah yes, it will depend on the severity of their offense," Blaine said. "Insults and slurs will warrant a fine, repeated offenses will call for a probationary period."
"And for assault and degradation?"
"Imprisonment and stripped of their title of 'mage'" Priscilla seethed.
"Isn't a bit too far?" Blaine nervously asked.
"Nope, I actually want to give them death and remove their family from nobility," the Queen said with an innocent closed-eyed smile.
"I trust that you have people to spread this message far and wide?"
"Yes of course, especially thanks to Iris and Hyperloop we can have all the announcements made all through Sapin within the week," Priscilla beamed.
"Now that the issues with the radicals are taken care of, how were spies able to reach this continent when they have been no signs of ships, even our own ship the Dicatheous, is set for her maiden voyage in a few months?" Bairon asked.
"Faulty teleportation gates..."
"...?"
'3, 2, 1...' Regis counted down.
"WHAT? THEY COULD MAKE TELEPORTATION GATES!?" they all screamed with bulging eyes, well except for Varay, her eyes just widened a bit which for her is quite expressive.
"Yeah, but only a few people can cross at a time, and then it still has a high risk of failure, so they will need to replicate the ship we're sending," I said feeding my spoilt dragon another piece of bacon.
"Wait, wait, wait, are you saying that you're purposely giving them the means to travels to and fro between continents?" Priscilla asked skeptically, even Cynthia rose an eyebrow trying to figure out what I was thinking.
