Tessia the troublesome elf

Hey troublesome elf, you there?

I am NOT troublesome! (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻

Oh my! Now you're a violent elf...
I'm shocked by this sudden development

No, I'm not, but you are an annoying Arthur!

Insults and alliterations, good one Tess.
On a more serious note are you coming to
Ellie's birthday party?

No, I can't make it. Why do
you ask?

Just wanted to know
Plus my family would have loved to meet you
Btw, have you met Lilia as yet?

Yeah! She's on the student council
Wait? is she the one you were talking
about that night?

Yup, what did you think of her?

She's pretty smart and was one of the top
first-year battle mages.

She'll approach me tonight and I plan to tell
her. But are you sure me having a harem
won't affect you?

Nope. The only people who might have
a problem with it are the elders, but
they're sticklers for the old ways.

"Sylvie, many nobles are going to attend the party tonight, so why don't stay upstairs and meditate."

"Papa is hiding something," she accused.

"Why do you think so?" I asked.

"Because you took me to all your other meetings," she deadpanned.

"Fine, I want to be alone when talking to Lilia, if my daughter is there it would just feel awkward," I said.

"Okay, but it's going to cost you two roast hogs," she bargained.

"One roast hog and a plate of bacon," I countered.

"Deal," she drooled.

Taking my place at the front door our first guests have arrived. "Welcome to tonight's celebration," I gleefully welcomed.

"Mister Leywin, we wouldn't have missed it or the world," said a well-dressed old geezer. "This is my daughter, Janice. Hopefully, you two can get better acquainted," he coaxed as the girl showed off her cleavage.

'Regis, I swear, if you start acting up, I'll cut your aether supply from 50% to 5%'

'Sorry,' he whimpered.

"As much as I would love to be in the company of such a beautiful young lady, I already planned to meet a few friends later tonight," I politely declined.

Greeting several more guests it was finally time for the birthday girl to make her entrance. Tubes of confetti were passed around and Ellie was guided to the top of the staircase by mother and Aunt Tabitha. "*Pop* SURPRISE! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!" everyone yelled as confetti flew in the air. With sparkling teary eyes and the biggest smile, my sister hugged our mom, glided down the stairs to greet her prep school friends.
