"As it stands, mana alone would not be enough to damage the enemy you guys are going to face. So, to help you guys out I've created a pseudo beast will in the form of a full-body tattoo."

"I don't follow," Virion said.

"Basically, by combining my mana and aether into ink, I could greatly increase the rate at which you absorb and regenerate mana. It can also strengthen your body so that you could use burst step and flash step. So, will you take the tattoos?" I asked.

"King Alduin trusts you, so will I," Alea said.

"You know you could have just commanded us to accept the tattoos, right? After all, we are at your beck and call," Aya said seductively while licking her lips.

Choosing to ignore her I continued, "There is much more we have to discuss, but I think it would be best to call it a day; so that we can thoroughly process all of this. Aya, Alea, the day after tomorrow I will give you the tattoos. It will take 5 hours each so I will just text you when to meet me," I said releasing Static Void.

Just as I was finished packing away all the alcohol, Tess came running in. "H-how fast was that?" the young elf panted.

"14.8 seconds. You made it by the skin of your teeth," Virion said as the young elf jumped in celebration.

"Wait. Tess, where is your coat?" I asked noticing the piece of clothing was missing.

"Ah, I... I forgot," she said scratching her cheek as our table broke out into laughter.

"Come we'll pick it up on the way out," I said. "Would anyone like to join us?" I asked.

"No, we have some stuff to go over about tomorrow's opening," Alduin answered.

"That will be 11 silvers and 23 copper, but for you Young Lord, it will be just 11 silvers," the owner of the bond supply store said.

"You're far too kind, Ms. Rosemary," I said, placing 11 silvers on the counter.

"Did you really think Anila needs 3 of everything?" I asked, trying to figure out what the troublesome elf was up to.

"Yup, one set to keep at the castle, one to keep at my dorm at Xyrus, and the other set to keep at your.... *Cough, cough, cough* Oh look, Art! The ice cream store! Last one there is a rotten egg!" The young elf shouted as she ran off.

So that's how it is, huh? Chuckling at her antics I quickly god stepped right Infront of the counter.

'Isn't it risky to use that in public?' Regis asked.

'Nah, all eyes were on Tess, plus Virion is known for his speed and I'm known as his student so anyone who saw me will simply think that I used a technique he taught me.'

"Young Lord, Princess Tessia, should we get your usuals," Cassy asked since Tess and I would frequent this store after she learned a new technique or if she was feeling down.

"Yes please, and a bunch of cherries for the griffon," I said as I paid for the both of us.

"No fair! You used mana, didn't you?" the rotten egg, accused.

"Nope," I said which was technically true since god step required aether. "You're just too slow without mana," I provoked hoping she'll train more seriously now.

"Hump!" she humph-ed while taking her seat with her arms crossed.

As Cassy arrived with our orders, Tess and Anila began to devour their snacks. Like mother, like daughter I thought.
