One day in Phoenix Drop High. A student by the name of Gene is rushing of to class. Of course he didn't want to be late to class, but he forgot his book for math. When he gets to class he realized he was early. "Huh, I swear I was late." Gene thought. He took his seat and studies before class. Gene's two friends Zenix and Sasha rushed into the classroom talking and laughing. Gene was glad to have those two as his friends. "Hey guys." Gene said. "Hey Gene, good to see you." Sasha smiles. "Yeah it's good to see you." Zenix also smiles. "Gene did you run into Aphmau and her Shadow Knight gang?" Sasha asked. "No, I actually didn't see them at all." Gene said. "They are probably skipping school again." Zenix said. "Yeah, like always." Sasha sighs. They study together and soon class started.

When class ended Gene walks out of class. As soon he did a bucket of water slashed on him. "GAH! Wha-what?! How did..." Gene stopped. People laughed at him. "Got you!" Aphmau laughs. Gene rushes off to the boys locker room. He leans in the corner of the wall and slowly slide down the wall. Gene curled into a ball and sobs. He didn't hear someone walking in. They walked up to him. Then they kneeled down. "Hey you okay? I seen what happen and it wasn't so nice of Aphmau to do that." Said a male voice. Gene looks up to see who it was, but what he didn't expect was the most popular guy in school in front of him! "Zane?" Gene wipes his tears away. "Yeah I'm Zane. Hey don't cry because of Aphmau being a meanie." Zane said. "I know, but she been bullying me for so long. I know it's sad that a girl bullying me and I'm upset because that." Gene sighed. "Well, I have an extra uniform if you like to borrow it." Zane told Gene. "Really? You let me borrow your uniform?" Gene asked. "Yep, come here." Zane stood up. Zane takes Gene to his locker and opens it. Giving Gene the extra uniform. Gene got dress and put his wet clothes in his school duffle bag. "Thank you so much, Zane. How can I repay you?" Gene asked. "There is no need to repay me. I'm just happy to help out for someone in need." Zane smiles, sweetly. "Well, would you at least let me get you lunch?" Gene asked. "If you really want to." Zane chuckled. "Great let's go!" Gene smiles.

They both went to lunch together. Zenix and Sasha was surprised that Gene got the most popular boy in school to have lunch with them. They thought of themselves as losers. Soon lunch was almost done. "Thank you for having lunch with us!" Gene smiles. "No problem. I'm happy to hangout with you guys." Zane chuckles. "We can do this anytime you like, Zane." Sasha said. "Thank you, I'll be happy to." Zane said. They all cleaned up, but before Gene left. Zane grab his shoulder. "Hey can I talk to you, alone?" Zane asked. Gene blushes deeply at Zane. He wants to talk to him alone! Why does he need to talk to him alone?! Gene always had a crush on Zane Ro'Meave, but Zane was to popular to ever like a loser like. That's what he thought though.

Gene follows Zane to the back of school. "So, what's up?" Gene asked. "Well, I may or may not hear your friends talk about you liking me. Is this true?" Zane asked. Gene cheeks heat up. He was also angry at his friends for talking about who his crush was. Now Zane is probably not going to like him at all after this. "So you do like me. Well, I have news for you. I like you too." Zane said. "What? Really?!" Gene blushed harder. "Yeah, I secretly liked you ever since I first seen you." Zane said. "I-I don't know how to feel now..." Gene said. "I know how to feel." Zane grabs Gene's chin. He gave him a deep passionate kiss. Gene had tears in his eyes. Soon they pulled away. Zane pushed Gene against the wall and kisses him again, but longer. Gene couldn't believe he was kissing Zane! "I feel a spark going off." Gene thought. Zane pulled away. "Come over to my house after school, okay?" Zane whispered into Gene's ear. Gene nodded. Zane and Gene held each other hand and walks back in the school. A lot of people were saying things like. "Why is Zane holding the losers hand?" "Are they together?" They both didn't mind people whispering about them behind their back. Gene was glad that the Shadow Knights slash water on him. Plus Zane was happy to have Gene to himself.
