My Highness (Evil Zane x Prince Travis) Part One

Prince Travis' Pov

Today is the day! I'm getting married to Princess Katelyn! She tough, has so much pride! I was dressed in my green and gold royal suit, knee high boots, and polished crown. Yeah, the crown is much, but whatever. I never been so excited! Princess Katelyn may have beating my head in a couple times, but she does like me! I took a deep breath and waited for the time.

I waited down the aisle for my soon to be wife. Once the big doors opened, I saw Katelyn in a beautiful long blue dress. She slowly walked down the aisle to me. Katelyn had a beautiful smile on her face. I still can't believe this day is happening. Katelyn and I been friends since childhood. So now her being my wife is a big honor. Once she made her way next to me. The pastor was about to say if I take Katelyn as my bride. The candles and lanterns in the whole kingdom went out. I watch Katelyn snatch a sword from the an knight. "What is going on?" My father Terrance asked. The windows shattered and some dark knights landed in. "Dark Knights? What are they doing here?" I whispered. We saw one of the Dark Knight walked up to Katelyn and I. The knight took off his helmet to reveal someone with raven hair covering one his eyes, his one eye has light blue eye with a tint of blood red, and very pale skin. I don't know who this is. "Zane?!" Everyone said. Zane? Who is Zane? "Oh well, seems like everyone remembers me. Good, good." He snickered. Katelyn held the sword at his throat. Zane grabs it and melts it. "What the!" Katelyn gasp. "Now, now, now Katelyn. I don't feel like fighting. Hmm, I see that I wasn't invited to this...wedding." Zane makes a smirk under his mask. I watch as Zane's one eye darted to me. "Well, I see you grown so much. I bet you don't remember me." Zane gets close to me. "I-I don't know you..." I said. "Just as I thought. Terrance, I see that you don't talk about me to little Travis. Especially that you say that I'm...evil?" Zane asked. "Zane, you betrayed the kingdom long ago!" My father yelled. "Oh, I betrayed the kingdom? Why don't you tell the truth?! Your lying to your own people and son." Zane looked at me once again. "Why would my father lie! He never lied!" I cried. "Ahem, well Travis. Has he tell you the story on what happened to your mother." Zane raised a brow at me. I stopped. "That's it! I had enough of you Zane! You betrayed us!" Katelyn yelled and grabs another knights sword and rushed at Zane. Raising the sword high and swinging down. Zane grabs it and melts the sword again. He grabs Katelyn and threw her far to the other side the room. "Gah! Katelyn!" I was about to rush to her. Until Zane wrap his arm around my neck, pulling me against his body. Zane held a dagger against my neck. "Now, Terrance what you going to do now. Touch me, I'll kill your son. Plus my army can easily kill you." Zane said. "What do you want you monster!" My father yelled. "Let's do a little game, here." Zane threw something at my father. He caught it and looks at it. "A watch?" He questioned. "Yes, a watch. No worries though. I'll give you. Hmm, a year to find your son. If you don't find him in time. The watch will ring and that means you son will die." Zane makes a evil laugh. Wait if my father doesn't find me in a year... I'll die?... "You!" My father growled. Zane put the dagger away and takes out a potion. He popped it open and put it near my nose. My mind is started to get very foggy. My eyes were getting very heavy. I lay my head back and slowly black out.

Zane's Pov

I drop the bottle and lower my mask. "The Prince will be with me for the time being. Don't worry either. I won't hurt him. Not until a year. Now good luck. By the way, Princess Katelyn." I said. She stands up and snarls at me. "I have a wedding gift for you." I threw her a note with a hint on it. "A riddle?" Katelyn asked. "Yes, it's just a little hint. So be grateful." I smirked. I covered my mouth and grab my black cape and cover Travis and I. We disappeared without a trance.

I took him to a very tall tower, far away from the kingdom, and hidden. I place Travis on the bed. Travis still looks the same from when he was younger. Doesn't matter now, your stuck here for a long time. Tsk like they will find you. Better enjoy your time here Prince. It's the last place you'll ever see.

Prince Travis' Pov

My eyes slowly flutter opened from a long nap. I yawned and sat up. That dream was scary. I'm glad it was just an nightmare. When I looked up, I saw I'm in somewhere way different. "Huh? Where am I?" I asked. I get up and walk out the room. There was no door, but just green curtains. I walked down the curved stairs. I don't know where I am! I walked to through the archway onto the balcony. I walk near the rail fencing. I looked down and saw I'm in a tower. "No... The dream can't be true!" I gasped. "Sorry, but it is." I heard a voice behind me. I turned around quickly. I saw Zane there. "Where am I! Let me go!" I yelled. He covered my mouth. "Shut it, now listen to me. Your stuck here. Until your kingdom saves you or your time runs out." Zane said. "No! I'm not ready to die!" I turn my back from him. "Don't worry, I'll make sure you enjoy your stay here. So, I'll be back. I'll get you some little fun things to do while your here." Zane whispered in my ear. I push him away. "Just leave me alone. You kidnapped me on the most special day my life." I walked off. I walked up the stairs and went to my new bed. I laid down and sob in my pillow. 

I slowly woke up from a small nap. I get up and walked to vanity. Sitting on the stool and look in the mirror. Fat tears rolled down my cheeks. I grip my crown and took it off. Placing it on the vanity and laid my head down.

Zane's Pov

I walked into the tower. No sign of Travis. He better not escaped. I went up the stairs fast and opened the curtains quickly. I stopped when I saw Travis sobbing. I sighed and walked up behind him. I place the bag on the vanity. Travis looks up at me. I saw him trying to hide his tears. "Crying isn't a good look on you." I said. He looked away from me. I pull some papers out of the bag and gave it to Travis. Plus the ink and quill. "Write something nice." I grab the crown and place it on his head. Travis head hangs down. "Zane, how come you want to kill me so bad. What did I do to you. I don't even know you!" Travis yelled at me. "Let me tell you something Prince. We have met, you just don't remember me. Now let me do some work and I'll come back." I pet his head.

A week past. I have been visiting Travis everyday. He seems to warm up to me more. Well, anyway it's time to visit the Prince. I appeared in the tower. He probably in his room. I made my way up there. I open the curtain to see Travis sleeping. I look at his desk and saw a short story. "Once upon a time, there was a Prince. He was happy for his wedding day with the girl he loved, but his wedding day was ruin by a Evil Knight. He took the Prince to a high tower were he only had a year to live. It hasn't been to long for this Prince to fall in love with his kidnapper instead. The Prince was afraid to tell the Evil Knight. The End." Zane reads. Not a good story writer, but I realized that he is talking about us. I looked at Travis. He really does love me? It's only been one day. I have always loved Travis. Why did I want to kill him. I walked over to Travis and sat next to him. I lay next to him and caress his cheek. Travis hugs onto me. He opens his eyes and gasp. "Zane, I um... I can explain!" Travis gasped. "No need to. You telling the truth in your story." I asked. Travis hangs his head down and nodes his head slowly. I wrap my fingers around his chin and pull him close to me. I made him look in my eyes. "You know if you want to live. I'll give you a choice. Will you be mine forever?" I asked. "Yo-yours?" Travis eyes widened. "Yes, mine. I wanted you for so long. Once I heard your getting married. I'm not allowing that." I said. "Zane, if I be yours. Can I at least see my father and Katelyn again. I promise to stay with you." Travis grip my armor. "Fine, but your going to wait until that year is up." I said. "Okay, I'll wait." Travis looked nervous. "Prince, come here closer." I said. He did. His lips were so close to mine. I kiss him. Travis was shocked, but melted in the kiss. I lay him on the bed while kissing him. I pulled away and thought of something for Travis.
