Travis' Pov:
I woke up to find myself in Zane's arms. My cheeks heat up. I smiled as he sleeps away. Zane and I actually did it. Wow... I can't believe this... I'm not saying this is bad. I'm actually happy about this. I sat up and get dressed. I walked down the stairs. Walking to the furnace. I grab some logs and put them in the bottom. I grabbed the matches and take out a single match. Slide it across the match box. Threw it on the logs and watch the fire rise. I grab some food to make some breakfast. While cooking I heard some ruffling upstairs. Zane, is probably up. So, I shrugged it off. "Travis's what you doing?" I heard Zane ask. "Just making breakfast." Turn my head behind my shoulder to see him. "You know I could of done that for you." Zane said. "I know, but I wanted to cook for once." I laugh. "Fine." Zane hugs me from behind. He put his head on my shoulder.
Once I finished the food. Zane got me some plates and helped me put them on the table. Getting some water and pouring a cup. We sat down and ate. "Your cooking is actually good. I should have you make more of this." Zane smiled under his mask. My cheeks heat up when he said that. I know maybe to some people. Cooking is just boring or not for them. But Zane likes it this much. Plus cooking is fun to me. So, cooking is really going to be problem. I took a sip of the water. My eyes looked up at him. I saw he wasn't eating anymore, but just staring at me. "Um, Zane you okay?" I asked. "Yeah, sorry." Zane snaps out of it of his daze. I put the cup down and smiled. "You thinking about something." I chuckled. I saw that Zane is blushing until his mask. "Travis, I want to ask you something." Zane sighed. "Yeah?" I listened. "Well, I want to know. How come you forgot me?" Zane asked. "To be honest. I just don't... I'm sorry that I did, but I want to know why I can't remember..." I sighed. "Hmm, I see. Well, the past is the past." Zane shrugs. I nodded and continued to eat.
We cleaned up and went outside. I sat on a rock and thought. I looked at the sky. I smiled at all the clouds. Since, it is nice to be outside. Turning my head to see Zane sitting on a log. He carve out a hand-made knife. He uses a small block of wood to make the handle. He also makes a sharp knife point out of a medium piece of stone. Zane ties a vine around the two and tighten it. "Wow that's amazing! Can I try?" I asked. Zane looked up at me. "You want to make one?" Zane said. I smiled and nodded at him. "Alright, come here." Zane pats the log to sit next to him. I got up and rushed over to him. Sitting next to him. He gave me another block of wood. Zane showed me how to cut the block right. Even though it wasn't a perfect handle. It is still good enough.
Once I finished it. I showed it to him. It is a little crooked, but Zane still loved it. "That's actually pretty good for your first time. When I did it. It took me five tries." Zane said. "Really, wow..." I smiled. "Yeah, lucky duck." Zane laughed. Zane and I decide to talk about things that we did when we were younger. You know like when we were separated. I told him that I didn't really have a childhood. I had to do things like normal Princes do. It made me feel like I wasn't freed. Zane told me that he was mostly alone. His mother passed away, big brother left to be a knight, little brother disappeared, and his father is being a bad father. Zane seem like had a worse life then I did. Zane had to do things by himself. I looked at him and hugged him tightly. He smiled at me. "Thanks for being there for me. Even if I did kidnapped you. You still cared for me and loved me." Zane sighed. "Zane, why wouldn't I love you. I love you very much." I smiled. We hugged each other.
All the sudden we heard rusting. We both turned our heads to the entrance covered by the vines. I gasped when I saw my father with knights, and Katelyn. "Travis!" My father yelled. I stood up. "Dad?" I was shocked. How did he find us... "Get him." My father points at Zane. They cuffed Zane. "No don't!" I cried out. "Travis it's okay. Let's go home." Katelyn said. "No, let him go please." I yelled. "Travis your now so delusional... Come on let's go." My father said. They grab my arms to take me by force. I couldn't believe this...
My father locked me in my room. So, I can try to be myself again. I rushed to my balcony. I looked down to see my dad next to Zane. Zane is cuffed on a pole, so he wouldn't escape. "Ladies and Gentlemen! We have found the kidnapper that stole the my son the Prince! He now think that this person is the good guy. Now thinks to him. My son now has Stockholm Syndrome! In a month! Zane Ro'meave will face the death penalty! The way he dies depends is the villagers choice!" My dad yells. No... Zane is going to die in a month by any death that villagers choice... I can't let this happen! I need to fine out a way to free, Zane. Even if it gets me in trouble. I don't care. I love Zane Ro'meave. He is so kind and loving to me. He may of threaten to kill me, but he proved to me that he truly loved me. I have time to make a plan! Don't worry Zane... I'll save you.
