Laurance's Pov:
I turned my head away from Garroth. "Garroth... Why didn't you tell me?" I asked. "I told you. I was scared and since I'm a Vampire now... I don't even know if you even like me at all." Garroth sighs, sadly. I thought about for a moment. "Garroth has always been there for me. When my parents passed away... Garroth was there to comfort me. When I wanted to do my dream as a Vampire Hunter... He supported me all the way, even if he didn't agree to the job. He still supportive. Garroth helps me with getting the supplies I need for my job. Now, Garroth is telling me his true feelings. I feel bad for not noticing... Since, he done so much for me." I thought. My eyes went back to Garroth. "Garroth, why do you like me? I said bad things to you and I'm a Vampire Hunter..." I had tears rolling down my cheeks. "Even if you did say words that hurt. Those hurtful words don't stay forever. I don't agree with your job, but it's your life decision. It doesn't mean I won't love you." Garroth smiles. I rushed to him and hugged him tightly. I could tell he was shocked at first. I slowly felt arms wrap around me. "I accept your feelings..." I looked up at him. "I'm so happy that you do. I love you so much, Laurance." Garroth chuckles. "I love you too." I smiled back.
Garroth and I became a thing. He my boyfriend now. We hadn't told anyone about our relationship. I told Garroth that I wasn't ready to tell anyone yet. Which he accepted my decision. I felt so happy ever, since we been dating. I even promised Garroth that I'll only kill the Vampires that are bad. He is okay with that. Anyways, I'm in my house working on the cures. Garroth help me get the supplies I needed. I threw in some herbs in the little coldren. That's when I heard a knock on the door. "Come in." I yelled out. I heard the door open and closed. I turned my head to see who it was. Aphmau walked in with a smiled on her face. "Hey, Laurance. Um, I found Katelyn and Vylad. They look horrible. I mean like they haven't drank blood in a while. At least we know they aren't hurting anybody. I'm afraid of that Vampire that bit Garroth, will come back. Since, he or she escaped last night." Aphmau sighed. "Yeah, that's understandable. That's why I have some Vampire Hunters to look out. We can't risk someone else getting bitten. Did you lock Zane, Vylad, and Katelyn in the iron cell?" I asked. "Yeah, even if it hurts them a little. I'm happy that you made that cage for them. We can't risk them to bit or turn anybody else." Aphmau sighs. "I'm getting on with the cure." I smiled. "Alright, well I need to get going. See you later, Laurance." Aphmau waves. "Bye Aph." I waved. I watch her leave. I sighed and put the bag of herbs on the table. All the sudden I felt two arms wrap around my waist. I turn my head to see who it was. I smiled when I saw Garroth. "How did you get in here?" I chuckled. "You left your window open. In Vampire culture that means your inviting me in, right." Garroth chuckled. "You're right about that." I laughed. "May I?" Garroth asked. "Sure." I closed my eyes. I felt his fangs sink into my neck. My gloved hands clutched his arms. I smiled while he did this. My eyes looked at my uncovered shoulder. I saw my blood rolling down my neck to my shoulder. Garroth pulls away and slide his finger cross the blood to clean it up. "You done?" I asked. "Yeah, sorry. You need help with the cure?" Garroth asked. "I just need help with this part." I gave him the book and show him. "Okay, here." Garroth grabs a vial of Vampire dust and put it in the pot. "That's the important part in book. So, make sure you add Vampire dust. Otherwise it won't work." Garroth said. I nodded and thanked him. Garroth smiled at me and kissed my cheek.
Later I finally finished the cure. I grab three bottles and pour a full ladle in each bottle. I put a cork on the bottles, so the cure wouldn't spill out. Putting them in a bag and put it over my shoulder. I walked out my house to Aphmau's Clinic. Knocking on the door and wait for her to open the door. Aphmau opened the door and jester me to come in. I walked in to the cage. "Don't worry, this won't hurt at all. All you have to do is drink this and you should be fine in a few days." I explained. "Please give it to us, so we can stop being this monster." Katelyn sighs. Zane and Vylad agreed. I nodded and gave them the each one bottle. They pop the cork off and drinks it. They sat down to relax now. "Okay, Aphmau make sure they stay here until a few days. Since, if they get bitten again. It could kill them this time." I sighed. "I'll be on guard." Aphmau nodded at me. Grabbing my bag to leave.
I went home and closed the door behind me. I locked all doors and windows, since it's almost night time. Walking upstairs and saw my bedroom window open. I don't remember opening it. I thought maybe Garroth came in, since he forgot something? I'm trying to think everything is okay. Walking up to the window and looked outside. I closed the window and put the chain on it. I got dressed in my nightwear gown. I got into bed and covered up. Blowing out the candle and slowly closed my eyes.
Soon I heard a creek. I sat up fast to see a shadow by the door. I slowly went for my crossbow, but since it was dark. I couldn't see it. So, when I turn my head to find and grab my crossbow. I aimed my bow at the door, but the shadow is gone. "Was that in my imagination?" I thought. I put my bow down and take a deep breath. All the sudden a hand covered my mouth and wrap their other arm around my waist. I felt a sharp pain in my neck. My eyes started to get very hevy to the point I black out on the spot.
