Lucinda Pov:

One day in Lovers Lane. I'm brewing potions with Travis. I asked Travis to help. Travis agreed to help. Even though I thought he mess up the potion. I was wrong. Travis is actually the bomb with making these potions. I can't believe how good he is with this! "How are you so good at this, Travis?" I asked. "Well, my father makes potions all the time. So, I'm taught how to do these very easily." Travis blushes. "That's awesome, what type of potions does he usually make?" I asked him. "I can't talk about it, haha." Travis laughs a little. "Alright then. Oh, get the powder." I point to a bag on the self. "Sure thing." Travis smiles. I reaches for the bag. Snatching it and hands it o Lucinda. "Thank you." I sprinkled the powder in the pot. "And the cat potions are done!" I clap my hands together. "Why do you need, so many cat potions anyways?" Travis asked. "Well, I have someone that want's to buy some. I guess they want some cats. Business is business." I grabbed some glass bottles. Travis helped me with pouring the potion into bottles. We had two boxes full of cat potions. We clap our hands. "I'll drop them off tomorrow." I breath out. I sat down on my couch. Travis joined. So, I got some tea for us. We chatted and drink our tea. I listened as Travis told me what him and the boys were doing yesterday. Sometimes I wish I didn't know, but I know that ain't that going to happen. So, I just listen without any questions. Plus Travis is the only one that mostly visits me. So, I ain't complaining. I smiled at Travis as he told me he had a crush on a woman. I wonder who is woman he is talking about. The lady is probably Katelyn. Travis has a crush on Katelyn since high school. Maybe his crush changed? Since, we all knew he had a crush on her. "So is this girl Katelyn?" I asked. "Not anymore. I decided to take the hint that she didn't like me. She punched so many times. I'm fine with it of course, but I just lost my love for her." Travis sighed. I nodded. I'm surprised that Katelyn made Travis not like her anymore. "So, who this new crush of yours?" I asked. I'm now curious. "Well, she is nice to me. She lets me help her. She also very beautiful!" Travis smiles. I thought. She is nice to Travis, she lets him help her, and she also beautiful. Hmm, who could this woman be? Travis looked at me with big puppy eyes. Oh my. He has a crush on me! "You have a crush on me, Travis?" I asked to make sure. "Wow, you guess it! I wanted to ask you on a date, but you know with Katelyn and stuff..." Travis cups his hands. "Come on Travis honey. You know I'll say yes to you." I smooth talk him. "Really?!" Travis gasped. "Yes, we can go on a date tonight." I smiled. "Alright! Where should we go one a first date then?" Travis asked. He didn't plan ahead I'm guessing. Probably because he thought I'll reject him. I understand that. "Hmm, how about at that fancy restaurant. We can spilt the bill if you don't mind." I said. "Yeah, I don't mind! Then I should get home and get ready. I'll come back!" Travis said, excited. He sprinted out the house. I smiled. I better get ready then. I made my way up the stairs. I look around in my closet. Once I found a perfect black dress. It's a cute little dress for somewhere fancy. So, I changed and put my make-up on. I made sure not to put to much on.

Later Travis and I made it to the restaurant. We got a table for two and took our seats. Surprisingly there wasn't many people here. I don't mind, but it's just this place is usually packed. Mostly people that are on a date or just want to eat somewhere fancy. We ordered and then started to chit-chat. We talked about how are things and what we be doing tomorrow. We did have some things in common. Which is nice. We did have our difference, but it's just normal. Not every date will have everything in common. Travis tried to doing some lame pick up lines. I just chuckled, since they were cheesy. I do like Travis' cheesy pick up lines. "That's so cute, Travis." I wink at him. Travis' cheeks heat up when I did that. I chuckled at him and smiled. We got our food and drinks. We still chatted as we ate. Once we finished we got up. Payed the bill and left a tip before leaving.

Travis took me home. "Sorry, if that wasn't the best date Lucy. I never went on a date before." Travis sweats. I smiled and kissed his cheek. I watch his face turn blood red. "I loved the date. Take me out tomorrow, Travis." I chuckled. Travis nodded his head. I wave to him and enter my house. I put my purse on the coffee table and take out my phone. I turn it on. I scroll on my phone and click on Travis name. I text him.

"Good night, babe." I put a emoji of a blowing kiss. I saw Travis texting back. "Good night, Lucy. I'll make the next date the best night of your life!" Travis puts a happy face emoji. I smiled at that text. "I can't wait, text me tomorrow when your coming, okay?" I sent the message. "Don't worry, I will!" Travis sent a text back. I smiled again and turn off my phone.

I walked up the stairs. I got dressed in my pajamas. Getting into bed and turn off the lights. I'm now excited to have the next date with Travis. I finally have a man without using a potion. I fell asleep happy.
