A Prom to Remember (Laurance x Garroth)

Take place in Phoenix Drop!

Laurance's Pov:

This is my last year in Phoenix Drop. I'm a senior and even though I went to prom last year. But I just brought my sister. Not the best prom ever, but it was nice still. Garroth and Katelyn won prom King and Queen. Even when they just went to prom as friends to make Katelyn feel better. Since Jeffory and her broke up which ate her up. Garroth was nice enough to at least try to make her feel better. Anyhoo, I got a poster about prom. I might as well go to prom, but with who? I turn my head at everyone,  but stopped at Garroth. Garroth Ro'Meave... I do have a crush on him. The only reason I didn't ask him out last year because of Katelyn. Since, she now dating Travis. Garroth doesn't need to take her out to prom as a friend again. Now my only issue is will he go to prom with me. The Prince Charming of the school dating me. That'll make people look. Since, I use to be part of the Shadow Knight bully group. I actually feel in love with Garroth when I was apart of their group. I still remember him that day.

Flashback Laurance Pov:

As I lean against the wall with Gene, Sasha, and Zenix. I listen to the three chit-chat while I just stood there not saying a word. I don't like this group. I'm with them, since they are my only friends. Even if I leave them and try to change. People probably still not like me. "I'll be back." I lean off the wall. "Come back, soon. We have a plan." Gene makes a sly smirk. That means he had found our next target. Great, we have to ruin someone else's life by bullying them. I'm not to happy about it, but like I said I don't have a choice.

I made my way to the boys bathroom. I grumble to myself as I thought how much I started dislike Gene and the group. I was so lost in thought which made me bump into someone. Making me stumbling on the floor. I landed on my ass making me pissed. I rub my hand until I saw a hand lowered close to my face. "Hey, are you okay. I'm sorry." I heard a very handsome voice. I looked up and stopped in my tracks. My cheeks heat up as a saw an tall blonde, cerulean blue eyes, and kind of tan skin. "Grab my hand. I'll help you up." He smiles at me. Why he so nice to me? Is he new here to not know I'm part of the Shadow Knight group. I grabbed his hand and he pulls me back on my feet. Then I realized that this blonde male is Garroth Ro'Meave. He the most popular guy in school! How didn't I realize this before? I have no idea... "I'm sorry..." I said to him. He looked at me confused. "Why you sorry?" Garroth asked. "Um, I wasn't paying attention were I was going..." I said. "Woah that's different." Garroth chuckles. "Huh?" I'm now confused. "Your a Shadow Knight recruit are you. I never saw a Shadow Knight apologize." Garroth smiles at me. " I dislike those guys..." I said. He looked surprise at me. "Then why are you still with them if you dislike them?" Garroth asked. "They are my only friends. Plus even if I quit I don't think people want to be friends with an former Shadow Knight." I sighed. "I'll be your friend." I heard Garroth said. My eyes widen and look at him. "You really want to be friends with me? Wouldn't that ruin your reputation?" I asked. "If it did I wouldn't mind. Being popular is nice in all, but it does come with some cost. I just think I'm popular because I'm handsome and rich. Not to brag, it's just what I hear and predict anyway." Garroth shrugs. "Then, I'll tell them I quit." I smiled. He smiled at me.

Present Laurence Pov:

That was the best thing I did. I became popular and the best part Garroth stayed my friend. So, it probably won't hurt. "Hey." I heard someone voice. I snapped out of thought to see Garroth in front of me. "Buddy the bell rang a minute ago. What you thinking about?" Garroth grabs a seat and turn to my desk. He sat down to listen. "Just having memories." I sighed. "Memories? What type?" Garroth asked. "Being back in the Shadow Knight group.  I don't miss it, but it kind of nice that I was there. I probably wouldn't have met you. Plus we all learn from mistakes. I learned the Shadow Knight's aren't the group for me. I found out the hard way." I laugh a little. "Mhm, I do believe you still would of met me. I still like the way we met. Plus your right, we learn from our mistakes. It can be small or big mistake, but we can always learn not to do it again. So, Laurance I'm proud of you for learning one mistake." Garroth smiles. I smiled back at him. I started to pack up my book and sat up. Garroth and I left the classroom.

As we walked down the hallway to our lockers. "Hey Garroth." I said. "Yeah?" I looked at me. "Did you hear prom is around the corner?" I asked. "Yeah, Ivy already asked me to prom." Garroth said. "Did you say, yes?" I asked. "No, Ivy is to rude. I saw her bully the new girl, Aphmau. Plus she is way to clingy. That's another reason." Garroth sighed. "I see..." I sighed. "Did you find someone to ask or already did?" Garroth asked. "Well, I have someone in mind. But I don't know he will go to prom with me..." I sighed. "It's a he? Didn't see that coming. Your so popular with the ladies that I think you get a girl." Garroth said, surprise. "Yeah, but I want to ask him out. I'm afraid that he'll reject me and for other reasons..." I spoke. "I know, he would go to prom with you." Garroth smiles. "You sure?" I asked. "Yep." He chuckled. "Okay, um Garroth Ro'Meave would you go to prom with me..." I said. Garroth's eyes widen and turn to me in surprise and shocked. "I'm the one you like?" Garroth said. "Yeah, I liked you ever since, we met. You made my world better. It's okay if you reject me. Just stay as my friend and I'll be fine and happy that way." I turn my head. "Laurance, I'm happy you told me. Funny thing actually. I did have a crush on you myself." Garroth chuckles. "Wait what? When?" I asked. "Ever since I saw you in the Shadow Knights. Your not a jerk like the other Shadow Knights. I knew you were different. I didn't know how to tell you." Garroth sighed. "Wow.." I smiled. "So, I'll say. Yes, I'll go to prom with you Laurance Zvahl." Garorth smiles back. I felt so happy. Garroth accepted! I never felt so happy in my life.

Time skip to prom. Garroth and I started to dance on the dance floor of the gym. People stare at us in shock. I didn't mind. I had my focus on Garroth. He the only one that made me feel happiness. He the one that accepted me when I was a Shadow Knight. He stayed with me till now. Maybe the future we can be more. Garroth did ask me to be his boyfriend. I happily accepted. I love Garroth Ro'Meave.
