I know it wasn't you (Laurance x Garroth) Part Two

Garroth's Pov:

My heart races as I travel trough the portal. I cover my face as I landed on the ground. My head is spinning from all the traveling. "To many colors and swirls." I rub my head. Getting up on my two legs. Then dust my coat and pants off. I turn my head left to right to see where I am, but I have no idea. "I see that you made it, Prince Garroth." I heard a woman said. I turn my head to see a woman with long raven hair, caramel brown eyes, and tan skin. She wears long purple robes. Her smile is beautiful. "Oh hello, my lady. Um, where am I?" I asked. "You are in the magical forest. This is were Laurance escaped to become a leader of a Shadow Knight gang. I didn't stop him, even though I should of. It's useless." The woman said. "Wait, Laurance... So, he really did... No..." I cup my mouth in disbelieve. Laurance really did plan this. "Garroth, it is not to late to change him. I know deep in his heart. He doesn't want to do this, but revenge has taking over him. The only thing he cares about right now is your love. He wants your heart and only your heart. That's why he wants you to keep in that castle. Still that's not a reason to kill your father. You have time to change Laurance's past, before he was accused of stealing that Royal Phoenix Statue." She walked to me. "Ma'am I want to know. Who are you and how do you know this?" I asked. "I'm called Irene, but I prefer Aphmau. I know everything. I can change fate. That's why your here. To find the truth and fix fate. I want you to find the truth. Plus your father. Yes, your father is harsh, but don't deserve death." Aphmau smiles. "Thank you Aphmau, but how can I find my father and the truth?" I asked. "Well, go find my fiance. He is called Shad, but he prefers Aaron. He a harsh man, but tell him Irene sent you and he'll help you. For the moment travel to find the truth." Aphmau waves and disappeared. Well, this is going to be an journey.  I better get my booties moving.

I made my way through the magical forest. I found a huge cave, but it is block with an lock. There is suppose to be a stone with an Symbol on it. I can't tell which Symbol, but once I find it I'll know. I turn my back to the wall and walk to a table in the middle in the forest. "Weird, why is there?" I thought to myself. I put my hand on the table and wipe the dust off it. I saw many Symbols on the table. I saw many of them. So, each of them are different kinds of Symbols. I need to find a stone with one these Symbols on them. I saw a small little pound. Walking to it and sat down. I saw something in the water. I roll up my sleeve. Pushed in my hand in the water. I grab the object and pull it out. Slowly wiping the mud off the object. It is a stone with a weird Symbol on it. I need to see what this means. I got up and made my way back to that table. I put the stone near each Symbol to find out what it means. One that matches says. "Revenge..." I whispered. I should have known. Laurance is still pissed after all these years... Even though he was allow out of prison on one condition... Laurance is never allowed in the Kingdom or around me. I remember that day when I saw him leaving the Kingdom forever. My heart was broken. I lost my best friend. Even though it's nice to see him, but at the moment he isn't really sane. I miss the old him. He was so sweet and caring. I need to change his fate, so I can be with Laurance again. I walked up to the stone wall. I place the stone in the slot. Stepping back as I saw the Symbol glowing. The wall slit into two and slowly open all the way. I walked into the cave. 

It was dark until little Sprites light up the torches in the cave. I heard them giggling and whispering. I heard them talk about me. "Oh look. It's Prince Garroth." One whispered. "Why is he here?" A second whispered. "Maybe Irene sent him here!" Another whispered yelled. "Um, hello who are you little guys?" I asked the little Sprites. They gasp and look at him. "I'm Kawaii~Chan. That's Michi and Kai." Kawaii~Chan giggles. They became human like, but they each have cat ears and tails. "We are Meif'wa's , but we are half Sprite too." Michi giggles. "Prince Garroth, what you doing here? It's dangerous here at the moment." Asked Kai. "Why is it dangerous?" I asked. "Well, Sir Laurance has Shadow Hound dogs everywhere." Kawaii~Chan gasped. "He is looking for me..." I turn my head a little. "Don't worry Prince Garroth. We can help you. The only problem is that we need to be careful. Laurance knows your here, so he could do anything to get you back." Kai stares at me. "How do you know he is looking for me?" I asked. "When Laurance lived here. He always talks to himself about you. Only you. Plus it's obvious what he is looking for." Michi looked at me. That's when we heard howls. The howls of the Shadow Hounds. They are close! "Prince Garroth this way!" Kawaii~Chan gasp. The thre turn into little Sprites again and flies away. I followed there little lights. Sweat poured down my face as I ran faster. Since, I heard the Hounds behind me. My boots started to get mud all over them the more I rushed through the cave. I don't care. I can't be taking back to the castle. Not now. Not when I need to save my father. We sprinted out that cave and jump in a bush. The smell of the mud covered my scent. I cupped my mouth, so they don't hear my breathing. I'm not being risked being caught. I watch as the dogs sniff around. Then I heard Laurance call for them. I now know that Laurance is close. "Okay, we should be good now. Let's get to Shad." Michi said. We jump out the bushes and walk down the dirt path. "Shad has a witch to help him. Her name is Lucinda. She did have an assistant, but he missing at the moment." Kawaii~Chan talks. I listen, since I need to know more on what I'm getting into. We stop when we heard a whistle. We turn around to see Laurance with a huge sly smirk on his face with the two Hound dogs on leashes. "Garroth, you need to run!" Kai yelled. I didn't want to leave them, but they pressured me to do it. As bad I felt about this. I turned my back on them and sprinted off. "Get them!" Laurance yelled and let the dogs go. My heartbeat races more. I'm so scared. Even though the dogs aren't following me. I want to make sure I get away to get to that truth. I stopped myself when I saw a steep hill. I try to catch my breathe as I heard chuckling. I turned around to see Laurance standing there holding some thick rope. "What you going to do with that!" I gasped. "Oh, this thing. It's only to keep your hands and legs from fighting. Come back now and I don't need to do this. I just want to protect you Garroth." Laurance tries to smooth talk me again. I'm afraid, very afraid. I didn't realized that I'm stepping back slowly. "Garroth, watch out!" Laurance yelled out. I fell and started to roll down the hill. I cover up my face so I didn't get any sticks or pebbles in my eyes. Once I made it to the bottom. My body slammed against a tree. Making me black out in a few seconds.

Laurance's Pov:

Damn it! I need to get down there now! I teleported down there. I looked around. I didn't see him anywhere. I saw one thing though. I picked up a pocket watch. Flipping the watch open. I saw an engrave on the inside gold side. Two names were there. "Laurance & Garroth Forever..." I whispered. I remember that day. On Garroth's birthday. His father gave him this watch. Garroth wanted me to have both our names engraved in the gold. I happily done it with him. So, many memories... Ruin by that damn king. Of course it's not my precious Garroth's fault. That now makes me think. Why is Garroth running away from me. Shit, I've been scaring him. Making some mean dogs track him and force on him to come back. I have an idea to have Garroth in my arms again. I place the pocket watch in my breast pocket shirt, under my armor. I made my way back to my dogs.

I saw one my dogs had the three little Sprites in his mouth. Grabbing the three and makes a small cage for them. He threw them in the cage and locked it. "Well, well, well, three little Sprites helping the Prince." I smirk at them. "You really have change, Sir Laurance." Kawaii~Chan cried. "Yeah, how dare you!" Michi yelled. "This is not you!" Kai snarls. "Change makes you stronger. Little Sprites, why don't you tell me where Garroth is?" I asked. "Why should we tell you?" Michi said. "Yeah!" Kawaii~Chan yelled. "Even if did we won't tell you!" Kai pouts. "You three don't know where Garroth is?" I asked. "Duh, Garroth sprinted off. We don't have those powers to see where he is." Michi sasses. "Fine then. You three are coming back with me." I make an evil smile at them. The Sprites look at me with fear in there eyes. "Come on boys we know were we need to go." I chuckled. The dogs bark and ran off. I follow.

Soon we hit a steel off cave. I opened it with the key I have. Walking in. I saw a couple doors. Each had locks on them. I opened the right on and put the cage with the Sprites on the bed. "Ta ta." I wave. I closed the door behind me. Locking it. I look at the left door. That door is were I keep Garroth's dad. He has ruined my life. So, I'll ruin his. I walked in. The King is sitting on the bed. He looks at me in disgust. "How could you do this Laurance." The King snarled. "Well, your highness. Do you remember the time you ruined my life? I lost everything! The important person I lost is your son. He was the only one that knew my innocence. Just because something stupid statue in my bag doesn't mean I did it. I was framed. Oh, I'm also still mad that you said. All Shadow Knights are the same." I snarled. "Laurance, all the evidence was in your bag." The King agrued back. "You don't think do you? It's called frame. Anyone could of taking that statue and put it in my bag. Plus who cares about a stupid statue. Your rich and a king. You can always make a new statue." I smirked at him. He looked at me and knew I'm right about that statement. "Alright, I need to find Garroth. So, I'll be on my way. Ta ta." I wave and left the king. "Let's go boys. Pick up Garroth scent." I show the pocket watch to them. I watch them sniff it. They sniff around and howled. I knew they have picked up a scent. "I'll get you to come back Garroth. I'll take you away. We'll be together again. Don't you worry." I smirked evilly.
