My Highness (Zane x Travis) Final

Zane's Pov:

I'm making my way home to get ready for that day. The day, Travis gets buried. Travis didn't see many things. At least he saw the outside world. I shake my head as I thought about everything I could of did for him. Then I thought that I gave him the best I can. I let out a huge sigh. That's until I heard someone dropping behind me. My eye darted to the left. I take out my sword and point it at the person. "Who are you. Why are you following me!" I yelled. The man wears a robe that royal green. Just like Travis... "Are you taunting me!" I snarled. "Why would I taunt you, Zane. Don't you love me?" Asked the man. "Wait a minute you sound a lot like...Travis?" I whispered. The man unhooded himself. My eye widen as if I saw a ghost. Travis is standing right there. In front of my face. "Travis? How? Your not real... You can't... I saw you die..." I shiver. "Zane, I survived, but I ran away. Sorry for scaring you, but I don't want to go back as royal ass. I just want to live a normal life. I don't want to keep living the same duties every single day. When I was with you. I was happy and free. Please take me with you!" Travis begs. "What about your dad? He so heartbroken." I said. "Who cares! He didn't care about me living a normal life. He wanted me as a prefect prince. Zane, please. I don't want to be a prince..." Travis begged me. "I could write to Travis father about it. So, it won't hurt." I thought. I looked at Travis. "Travis, I'll allow you to stay with me." I got close to him. "Thank you so much!" He hugs me. Travis looked at me and kissed me. My eye widen and blushed more. I kissed him back. I still love Travis, but I can't let him stop seeing his father. I may have daddy issues on my own, but I don't want Travis to stop loving his father. The King isn't bad he just wants Travis to be a great ruler. Maybe, I can take him to going back soon.

It's been a couple of months already. I got a letter from the King after I sent a letter about Travis. He told me to keep Travis with me, until he ready to go back. At least he understands that Travis need sometime to think. "Zane, I got some berries. These aren't the poison ones. I use to read on what is good to forage." Travis hugs me. He walks to the table and place the basket on the table. "Um, Travis." I walk up to him. "Yes?" Travis looks at me. "Travis, have you thought about home? I'm just asking." I looked at him. "Well, I do miss my dad... I know he wants the best for me, but... I don't want to keep doing royal duties. I get to do things that I couldn't before. Walk outside without a guard, foraging, and much much more. Think about it Zane. Have you ever been royal? I don't go back..." Travis turns his head. "Travis, I not letting you give up on your father." I sighed. "Why do you care about that, Zane?!" Travis snaps. "Because I don't want you to lose your dad like I lost mine!" I snapped back. Travis stops and looks at me. "I'm sorry..." I sighed and sat down. "Zane, why do you say that you lost him?..." Travis asked. "After my mom died... My dad been more you know. More then mean... That's when my younger half brother Vylad ran away. My older brother tried to stop me from trying to change dad. I didn't listen. I thought he could change like the good old days. I was so wrong. My older brother left, since he was tired of dealing with dad. Then it was just me and dad. That's until dad and I were getting exiled. My dad passed away. Even if he was mean. I couldn't leave him. I still blame him for ruining my life, but I should of left. Now, both my parents are dead and my brothers are still missing." I sighed. Travis stays quiet. "I had no idea you went through all that... I'm sorry..." Travis whispers. "Don't say sorry. I just don't want you to lose the chance to be with your father like I did. I lost everything a long time ago. Your the only one I can be with now." I sighed again. "Zane, can we go now?..." Travis asked. "Of course." I smiled at him. He smiles back. We shared a kiss and got ready.

"King Terrance." I called out. "Zane, why you here?" Terrance asked. "See for yourself." I smiled. Travis walks up. Terrance eye bright up and hugs him. "Travis! I'm so sorry! I just want you to be a great ruler, but I didn't care about your happiness. I'm so sorry." The King sobs. "It's okay dad. I understand now... I thought you didn't really care for me. Of course, I'm wrong... I'm sorry. Zane told me everything that happened to him, so it made me think to see you." Travis smiles. "Your not coming back?" Terrance asked. "No, I just want to live with Zane. I want to be with him." Travis holds my hand. "Travis, I accept the way you want to live, but if you do change your mind. I'll allow Zane be in the royal family." Terrance looks at us. "Zane, I do want to stay, but I don't know if this is what you want. I can always visit my dad!" Travis smiles. "Heheh, well I want you to stay close to your dad. So, I want to stay here with you." I chuckled. Travis eyes bright up and hugged me. "Dad! I'll be married to Zane!" Travis laughs. I smiled and kiss his cheek.

Nobodies Pov:

Years have passed. Zane and Travis finally got married. They became the new ruler of the Kingdom. They spend money for the village as Travis hopes. Like the poor getting homes and jobs. New fun places. Playground for kids. That's all nice, but Zane still missing his brothers. Even though he had fights with them in the pass, but he can't stop thinking about them. Travis knew that Zane be upset for a bit. So, he decided to do something for Zane.

Zane read a book on the bed. The door opens. "Zane, I have a surprise for you." Travis smiles as he walks in. "Travis, I told you, I'm not a fan of surprises." Zane turns to him. "Well, I know you'll love it. Come one, please." Travis made big puppy eyes at him. "Fine..." Zane put his book down. They walk to the main hall. What Zane didn't expect was that Travis found his missing brothers. "Garroth, Vylad?!" Zane gasped. "Baby brother!" Garroth squealed. "Big brother!" Vylad hops. They hugged. "Where have you guys been?!" Zane sobs. "Well, I live in the Kingdom next door. I married a handsome prince." Garroth smiles. "I've just stayed in the woods. I just want to help the animals." Vylad smiles. Zane turns to Travis. "Thank you so much." Zane smiles. Travis couldn't be any happier to see Zane happy. Zane and Travis may had a rough start, but they made it through with love. "I love you, My Highness." Zane smiles.
