Good day Jamie and/or Danny,

Firstly and briefly, I hope you have arrived safely at the inn. I assume your trip to it was without issues as well.

If you do not mind, I will cut right to the problem at hand: I might need your help.

My mother has disappeared from her home. 'What does that have to do with us?' you might ask. Fair question; here is the answer.

There was a letter I found in her home. It mentioned the Laurier family, and that I will receive a 'reward', which I assume is my mother, once I 'reunite the Laurier with the rest of them, together with the traitor.'

The note left at my mother's house told me to do that.

I am not implying you have anything to do with my mother's disappearance. Not directly, anyway. I am writing you because I see a connection between you two and the letter, since you asked me to keep an eye on two of the Laurier family members.

I have a feeling you know more than I do. I want to know what those things are. Like any other person, my mother means the world to me. I don't know what happened to her, and I do not know what will happen to her. What I do know, is that I will do everything to get her back.

I am convinced I need you for that. I want you to tell me everything you know. Even if you do not know anything, I want to know that.

Sometime in the next few days I will find a way to leave the inn to visit the address you gave me. I want to talk with you two. Face to face. I expect you to be there.

I'm sorry if that last part sounded a bit threatening, I did not mean for it to sound that way. Just know I am serious about this, and I hope you are willing to help me. Even if that means you will be telling me you have no connections to this whatsoever.

After all, I promised you to do you a favor. You could repay me this way.

See you soon,

Olivia
