Good afternoon Coco,
After waiting day and night, week after week, month after month, you finally sent me two letters in a row. I'm relieved you finally got the hint. Thank you. To answer your pressing questions: I slept fine the evening of the last-minute dinner. Finally laying in bed felt better than ever!
Also, thank you for informing me you've arrived safely. Too bad the curtains in your room disappointed you. From reading your letters, they will genuinely ruin your stay. Admittedly, it sounds like you have gotten yourself in a horrible situation. I can't even imagine the number of nightmares you'll have. Luckily, your Prince Charming is right next to you. He'll save from all the evil.
But...
Maybe you're overreacting a little? Just a tiny bit?
It's just an observation.
Anyway, moving on before you get offended. I'm pretty sure the Laurier family indeed has two sons. The second one will probably show up later. Who knows what rich people are up to in their free time. However, strange that they didn't force him to be there for your arrival.
That seems like a thing they would do. Because your families are friends and all. They probably don't want that to end. Benjamin will definitely get home soon. Maybe only out of respect, but he'll still come.
While you're there, keep an eye on the oldest son and the dad. I know that sounds weird, but you'll just have to trust me that there's a good reason for that.
Now, you might be wondering: 'why does she ask me that?'. I'll tell you. I might not be there for the dinner. Don't worry, the inn hasn't canceled. You'll still have the delicious food.
I promise I'll explain everything later if I get the chance. Long story short: I'm pretty sure my mother has been abducted. And if you don't mind, I find my mom more important than a dinner not even for me.
I know that is quite a bomb I just dropped. Take your time processing it. I'm pretty sure I still am, too. On the plus side, I haven't seen the creepy dude in a while.
I'm not sure how to end this letter. I'm not sure what I'll do for the rest of the day either. I'll figure it out.
In short: keep an eye on the Laurier family. Tell me anything even remotely unusual. Also, remember to have fun without me anyway. I'm sure you can do it. I believe in you!
Bye,
Livia
