'Olivia.'

Someone put their hands on Olivia's arm and shook lightly.

'Olivia, wake up.'

Another shake.

'Please.'

She felt a nagging pain at the back of her head. Trying to ignore that, Olivia opened her eyes. A familiar face greeted hers with a relieved smile.

'Mom?'

When Olivia's mother heard Olivia's voice, she bent forward and gave her daughter a warm hug.

'I'm so incredibly happy to see you,' she said into her ear.

'Same here.'

She released herself from her mother's grip and inspected her. She seemed tired, and her face hadn't been washed in a while. Other than that, however, she seemed to be doing okay.

'Are you okay?' her mother asked.

'I'm fine. You?'

'I'm fine.'

'What happened to you?'

'I'll tell you later. Firstly, what happened to you?'

'I'm not sure,' her mother answered.

While her mother sunk into thoughts, trying to find the one her daughter was asking for, Olivia looked at where they were.

The both of them sat on a bare bed; only a mattress on the ground. The room was dark but did have a window. It wasn't covered by curtains and showed stars in the sky.

She took in the rest of the room. The mattress laid on the ground in the corner, connecting to two walls. She was able to make out a door in one of the remaining walls. Against the last wall lay something.

'What's that?' she asked.

She gestured to it, and her mother followed her gaze.

'Who's that. And you tell me,' she replied. 'I don't know who he is. He was brought in with you. A tall, young man.'

She could make out a human form, now she knew it was one. She saw the rising of his chest. Tiny pulses.

Dante? Olivia thought. Must be Dante. They must have taken Benjamin to his family and thought Dante and I were trying to harm him. It's all just a big misunderstanding.

On the other side of the door, murmurs could be heard. They could be heard for a while now. However, something made them stop.

'What is happening here?'

A loud, unknown voice outside of the room echoed through the hall connected to it.

Someone found us Olivia thought.

'Sir- '

'Open the door. Right now.'

Someone messed with a bunch of keys, and the heavy door slowly opened with a creak. The light from the hall was blinding compared to the darkness in the room they were in.
