Dear Vivi,
It has taken me more time than I would like to respond to your previous letters. I'm sorry. There have just been so many tea times and lunches and such.
Anyway, I'm finally writing you now.
Firstly, I am most definitely not overreacting about the curtains. They are awful and will haunt me for at least the next four weeks.
Secondly, your mother got abducted? Excuse me? I have so many questions.
When? How? By whom? Why?
I hope by the time you're reading this; you have found answers to those questions. Not just for me, of course. For yourself more than anything.
I can't even imagine how you must feel. Awful, I assume, but still...
I haven't seen her here. I am fairly sure I still remember what she looks like. It has indeed been quite a long time since I've seen her. When we were still kids if I remember correctly. I am confident I could recognize her.
You do have me wondering, though. Why would she be here? Going off your last letter, you know more about the situation than I do. It is probably too much to write down, though. You might not even have the time for that.
I'd like you to explain everything when we see each other again!
Also, Benjamin still hasn't arrived. He wasn't even present for the big dinner. Again, I think you know more than you tell me since you predicted that.
You're freaking me out a little, to be honest.
I am not sure what address I should send you this letter. I'm currently in our bedroom writing this by a small light. Arthur already went to sleep, and I'm getting tired as well. I think I'll send it to Sheppard's inn in the morning.
Hopefully, I'll be able to see you there in a week or so. I'll make sure I'll stop by. You have my word.
Bye,
Coley
