SHIA'S POV
I opened my eyes to see an unfamiliar place.
where am I?
"Shia" I turned my head to some voice i heard.
I was shocked to see
"Nathan? What are you doing here?" I asked confused.
"Lia told me everything." Sagot nito sa akin.
"H-how did you found me?" tanong ko sa kanya.
"Maximus, He texted me. What happened to you? I found you lying on the road, breathless" nag aaalang sabi nito sa akin.
"I was just—"
I stopped remembering everything that happened earlier.
My heart ached once again and my eyes started to water as I kept recalling the scene in my head.
Im so stupid!
I know I'm just nothing but a bestfriend
and yet
I still held on.
Nagulat na lamang ako nang bigla akong yakapin ni Nathan.
I was hesitant at first but i eventually hugged him back.
"I don't know what to do Nathan. Sobrang sakit pala" I whispered still crying.
"He's a jerk, Forget about him okay? You don't deserve him. Please stop wasting your tears on him" He faced me and wiped the tears in my eyes.
For a few minutes, we just stared at each other. I can't take my gaze away from his seductive brown eyes, which are luring me closer to him. His intense stare drew me in.
My heart almost jumped out of my chest when he suddenly kissed me. I was stunned.
"Nathan?" I asked him confused when he backed away.
"What if—" he suddenly stopped as if he's hesitating about the words he should say.
"What if we try?" He bluntly said.
What?
"What do you mean?" I asked him.
"You and I, In a relationship" he said.
I was shocked. I didn't know what to say.
"I—I can't, I still love—"
"Keiro? I know" He said and smiled bitterly.
"I can't just give up like that. I'll wait" dagdag pa nya.
He will?
"I'll wait until you're ready" He smiled at me.
His warm smile made my heart ache. I don't know why.
"You should rest, I'll stay here" Sabi nito.
I smiled at him.
