Jayden's POV"You know you don't have to wear that right? It's not like we're going to some fancy dinner or something." I laugh. Liam is wearing an all-black suit from top to bottom, like something you would wear at a wedding, or a sweet fifteen. "I've never met them before.
I don't wanna wear something casual, they might think I'm a slob or something. Besides, I've been looking for an excuse to wear this anyways." Liam says as he looks at himself in the mirror and whips off any lint that's on his suit. I should've known Liam would be dressed in a much more formal outfit than me, Ethan, and Grayson combined.
I, on the other hand, am just wearing a regular old t-shirt with some ripped-up jeans. It makes me look like a bum compared to Liam. I will say though, I'm also pretty nervous to go back to that house, and eat lunch with... Grayson. It can go any way honestly and I just hope that by the time Liam and I get back home, we didn't create some unwanted tension between them. At least I have Liam with me, he makes me feel safe. "You ready?" Liam approaches me. "I guess... but aren't you embarrassed by me wearing such a basic outfit? I should probably change into something more formal too, just so y-" He takes both of my hands and gently caresses them with his thumbs to calm me down. "Why would I be embarrassed by you? You don't have to wear anything you don't like to satisfy me. As long as you're satisfied with yourself, I'm satisfied." He gently squeezes my hands in a comforting way. I smile back at him with rosy cheeks. "Now c'mon, we should get going now." He says. He opens the door for me which makes me blush. He's always been a gentleman. "Thanks," I say before heading out the door.

It's a bright sunny day today and although we don't live far apart from each other, I found myself panting by the time we arrived. I haven't been in this house since I moved in with Liam, and now that I know Grayson has a new girlfriend makes everything a lot more nerve wrecking. That shouldn't affect me though. I don't care about Grayson's love life anymore. I've moved passed him. There's nothing I should be worried about.
We paused in front of their door before knocking in preparation for what was to come. I take a long breather before knocking on the door. I hear loud footsteps running from inside the house. Seconds later, the door opened. Ethan greeted us both and invited us in. It seems like I wasn't the only one panting. Ethan too was panting just as heavily. "Take a seat while I finish the food. Oh, and before I forget, Jeremy told me that he says hi. He left to visit his family for a couple of days." He says while rushing his way over to the kitchen. We made our way through the hallways and into the main living room where we sat on the sofas waiting for something to happen. Liam was mindblown at how ginormous the view of the beach was. I for one also forgot how huge this house is. We sit in silence before Liam scoots closer to me and whispers, "So uh... was the Ethan or Grayson?" I giggle and say, "That was Ethan." "Ah ok. He seemed kinda busy. I'm gonna go and see what I can do to help," Liam says standing up and making his way toward the kitchen, making me feel unaccompanied.
