Jayden's POV

I called Grayson to ask what he wanted to tell me. Unfortunately, that phone call that I thought was gonna be 3 minutes long turned out to be 20 minutes. He made it into a whole lecture on how to always bring my phone everywhere I go just in case of an emergency. He turned into a complete dad, which was kinda funny seeing him worry so much about me. The main reason why he called though was to remind me that Cameron's funeral is today. He said that he'll be over at around 3 to pick me up. To be honest I completely forgot about the funeral. I guess ever since the incident happen I just chose to block that awful day from my head.

I take one final look at myself in the mirror to make sure I look decent. Liam chuckles in the background. "You look fine, trust me." He chuckles once more. "You always do." I blush. "You sure you don't wanna come with?" I ask. "I wasn't invited. I'll just seem like a complete parasite. Besides, I have to take Oreo on his walk. But make sure to say hi to everyone for me. Oh and-" Liam reaches out to get two red roses and hands them to me. "Place this rose on her tomb for me as a sign of my respect. Oh and the other ones for you." He timidly looks down with a warm smile forming on his face. "Thanks." I softly smile

*Honk!*

"That must be them." I look up at Liam, unaware of how close we are to each other. "Yeah." He says very monotone. I can feel his breath against my skin and we stare at each other not saying a word. Deeply focused on each other's eyes.

*Honk Honk!*

Both of us flinched at the sound. "I'm sorry. You should go." Liam says blushing. "Oh right," I say. I walk down to the front door, gripping the two roses, and then pause to turn around to Liam. "Bye," I say. "Bye." We give each other one last smile before heading outside.

Grayson's POV

Why isn't he out yet? I already honked a shit ton of times. We're already running late, and now we have to wait for Jayden to come out. I let out a sigh and lay back in my seat while I wait for him. Anna, who is sitting in the passenger seat starts laughing. "Calm down Babe." She pauses to let out another laugh. "He'll come out eventually" She smiles while rubbing my arm to calm my stress.

"I know I know, I just don't want to be late. I wanna get there early before the paparazzi do. I know there's gonna be a lot." I say resting my head on the headrest.

"What makes you say that?"

"This is the first time in months that we've done something publicly. They went nuts when they found out about the shooting and my death. Cameron's funeral is only going to feed into their new articles even more."

"It'll be ok babe. Everything will be fine. Don't stress about it." She rubs my arm to ease my nerves. I thank her and give her a pec on her cheek. "I'm still not used to you looking like Ethan" Anna laughs.

Since I'm 'dead', I'm not allowed to go outside so I made myself look like Ethan so I can attend without anyone knowing that it's really me. Besides Anna, Jayden, and my mom, no one else that is attending the funeral will know my true identity. Ethan let me be the one to go to Cameron's funeral while he stays at home to watch the livestream. It's a private livestream for our family that wasn't able to attend the funeral in person.

After what seemed like a fucking eternity, Jayden came out. He's... going alone? Ugh, of course that other guy didn't come.

Jayden's POV

When we arrived at the funeral everyone was talking amongst each other in small groups here and there. All dressed in black of course. The area was nice and peaceful too. Not to mention it was insane huge. It was a big open grass field with trees and flowers everywhere. The whole cemetery was surrounded entirely by a huge gate that blocked off paparazzi from recording us. Thankfully we are far away from the gate that the paparazzi was camping at. Too far away from them to see us.
