Gayson Rumors Pt. 2 (The Award Show)

Haley's POV

That night started all the rumors about Grayson and Jayden's relationship. Because of that one little slip-up that occurred during the night of the award show...

It was a few months back. It was the night of the award show, and the Dolan Twins are nominated for one of the night's biggest awards for "Best Video" at the Streamy Awards. The YouTube video that earned them this nomination is now one of the Dolan Twins' most-viewed videos on their channel. It was an instant hit. The video also featured Jayden, so the twins invited Jayden as their plus one.

Unfortunately, Ethan came down with a terrible fever a day before the big night. So, he was left with no choice but to stay at home and rest while Grayson and Jayden attended this glamorous ceremony.

Fast forwarding a couple of hours later, it has just been announced that the Dolan Twins have won for "Best Video" at the Streamy Awards! The crowd cheers and claps as the camera pans over to Grayson getting on stage to accept his award. He is also accompanied by Jayden, which Grayson pleaded him to join him on stage so they can share this special moment.

Once the two of them gave their speeches, they thanked the fans one last time for this victory. The crowd erupted in applause as the two of them shared a triumphant, lingering hug. Once they finally broke free from each other's arms, Grayson and Jayden gave the crowd one final wave before making their way backstage.

Backstage, in the dimly lit corridor, they couldn't contain their happiness. Their victory, combined with the electric atmosphere of the evening, created a changed moment. They found themselves alone, away from the public eye, and their emotions got the best of them. They began to reminisce by talking about their journey together, how they met, and how they meant so much to each other.

The more Grayson and Jayden spoke, the closer their faces drew to each other. Their words faded into silence, and the world around them blurred. It was in that moment of vulnerability and connection that they leaned in, unable to resist the magnetic pull. Their lips were about to meet, culminating in years of unspoken feelings and a deep, unbreakable love.

That's when an awkward "ahem" can be heard close by. Causing the two lovebirds to break their deep connection and look at the direction the noise came from. That's when they noticed the cameraman pointing a giant professional camera directly at them. They were being recorded the whole time. To make matters worse, it was being live-streamed for thousands of people worldwide to watch.

Grayson and Jayden quickly pushed each other away in a panic. They both clear their throats. Grayson runs his fingers through his hair while Jayden dusts off his suit as they stand in complete silence. With each passing second that the camera continues rolling, Grayson gets angered more. He couldn't take it any longer. Without thinking twice, he grabs Jayden by the arms and speedily walks away from the camera sight. Still securely grabbing Jayden's arm, Grayson leads the way by pushing past all the camera crew and all the screaming fans, recording them and begging to take pictures with them until anyone can no longer see them.

Unfortunately for the two of them, they could do nothing to revert to the past. It's already been done. The entire internet saw them nearly about to kiss, and there's no way to erase it.

Ever since that day, the everlasting question of Grayson's sexuality has been a common subject for many people on the internet.

Were Grayson and Jayden drunk that night, which led them to nearly kiss because they were under the influence? Were they messing around and decided to kiss just for fun? Was Grayson queerbaiting for attention and knew about the camera this entire time? Or were they genuinely about to fall into a passionate kiss because they thought they were alone? If that's the case, does that mean Grayson Dolan is gay? How come he hasn't come out yet? Has he made people sign NDAs to prevent people online from knowing about his interest in men? Is he and Jayden secretly dating??

There are so many questions that people wonder, and there are always multiple different answers to these questions. No one for sure knows the truth about Grayson. Whether he's secretly sexually attracted to men, he's just straight, he and Jayden are dating, we don't know. And we probably might never know the answers to any of these questions. It's been months since that occurred, and we still haven't heard a single word from Grayson or Jayden about that night. They just moved on as if nothing happened. Neither of them confirmed or denied anything.

I have concluded that we might never know the truth about Jayden and Grayson's relationship or what Grayson's sexual orientation is. Not that it's any of my business anyway. But I am proud to say that from now on, I will always keep an open mind about people. I won't ever assume the sexuality of someone based on the stereotypes they fall into. Regardless of how masculine a man can be, there always remains the potential for them to have a sexual attraction towards other men.
