That's until the doors have opened and mother entered the office
She closed the door, she was trying to catch the breath
- Mom? - I asked her
She looked at me and smiled
- My, oh, my, aren't you the handsome sheriff! - she said to me Look at you.
- Yes. - I was happy to hear it from her - Yes, I am, Mommy.
- Well, this is it. - mother approached me - It is your time to shine, dear. Everypony wants to hear from you.
- They do? - I asked her
- Of course.- she approached me - You are in charge now. It's your destiny.
Destiny, huh?
Alright, time for citizens to meet me, a new sheriff
- Citizens! - I said, as opened the doors, but after saying it, the doors closed, making contact with my face, it was hurt - Ow! - I opened the doirs again, cleared my throat and spoke up - It is I, Sheriff Sprout!
- Sheriff? - Toots asked, confused - Where's Hitch?
- We need a real sheriff! - one of the citizens said
- Tell us what's going on! - other one told me
- Hitch would know what to do - third one said
I wasn't happy with them wanting Hitch
That guy makes me sick...
- Come on now, everypony. - my mother joined conversation - Let's listen to what our new sheriff has to say.
There was an awkward silence, until mother told me:
- That's you, sugarcube.
- Oh, yeah, it's me. - I said and started listening everypony
- Everything's gone wrong! - fourth citizen exclaimed - What do we do?!
I cleared my throat and said:
- Okay, folks, calm down. There's no need to be scared.
- We're scared, - Toots told me - and we want to be prepared!

- The Magus are coming! - Sparkle Chaser exclaimed in panic - The Magus are coming!
- What do we do? - fifth citizen asked
- What's your plan, sheriff? - Toots asked me
- What if that Magier will come back? - sixth citizen asked
And that's when I realised - it can be true
- Actually... what if you're all right? - I said - The Magus could come back. They could even bring the Aerials. And if he actually really exists, that Human-Alicorn Hybrid, Y/N L/N. We are all in danger!
They all gasped, hearing it
- Now is not the time to be complacent! - I told everypony - We should do something!
Something is lurking,
Something is near
Something is feeling stranger, stranger
Stirring up discord,
Whipping up fear
Whispering softly, "danger, danger!"
Outsiders creep up slow and steady
Wings glistening,
Horns at the ready
Think what they could do to the status quo
