Coercere also means restrain and Et loqui verum nisi veritate means speak the truth and only the truth. XxD)

"Coercere!" Isa yelled as she flung her hand out towards Finn who was pushed backwards as he was tied to a wooden post that grew from the ground, with heavy metal chains, magic keeping him from using his strength to escape as Isa turned on her children.
"Mom, please, don't ground us, just hear us out," Henrik begged as he and Hope took wary steps backward, Hope behind him.
"Don't ground you? You are both going to be grounded until the end of time. What in hell were you thinking?! Stealing from your Aunt Freya, first of all. Going behind my back and your father's by lying to us about where you were, second of all. It's a good thing you both at least feel somewhat guilty or I wouldn't have been able to find you. And third of all, bringing him back!?"
"We just wanted to have our entire family back. And we didn't think it was fair for Uncle Finn to just be stuck in that pendant for the rest of eternity," Hope defended and her mother softened as she wrapped both her kids in a hug.
"You are both incredibly sweet, and I love you for what you were trying to do, but Finn just doesn't agree with immortality. Even if I did forgive him and trust him after all he's done, I doubt he'd willingly want to join this family. And I doubt this family would let him join, your father in particular."
"But Mom, you can easily persuade him," Henrik protested and Isa sighed.
"Henrik, even if I did trust Finn, which I don't, you know how protective your father is, especially over his children. And he's not particularly fond of his eldest brother after he not only tried to kill me and most of your aunts and uncles, but you as well," she said as she cupped Hope's cheek.
"But Mom, he's family."
Isa turned to glare at Finn as she held her children close. "Well, he certainly hasn't proved it. Now let's go. Your father and I will deal with him later."
"Mom, please! He said he was sorry!" Hope begged.
"Hope Anee Mikaelson, this is not up for debate. You two are still in big trouble, so march it. And if I catch you down here again, there will be hell to pay."
Hanging their heads, the two teens walked out of The Garden and Isa turned to Finn.
"Do you even have anything to say for yourself?" she asked, brows furrowed in anger.
"Don't be too harsh on them. Their intentions were good."
Isa stared at him in disbelief.
"You didn't seem to have the same opinion when you tried to kill my daughter or hand her over to Dahlia!"
"And for that, I am deeply sorry. I am sorry I didn't fight for your child as you did. You are my sister, and I am sorry."
Isa didn't move for all of a minute as she processed his words. And she processed the fact that there wasn't an ounce of deception or lies in his words, and the only thing it was laced with was sincerity and regret.
She turned back to the door where her children had exited through before looking back at Finn and asking, "What did they say to you?"
"They said nothing. They merely cast a spell to show me the truth. To show me the truth that mother had brainwashed me from seeing."
"Et loqui verum nisi veritate," Isa chanted and a cold wind pushed through the cavern.
"What did you do?" Finn asked nervously, wriggling slightly to become more comfortable under his blanket of chains.
"I cast a truth spell. Because I want nothing but the truth from you when I ask you this: Do you truly want to be apart of this family?"
Finn looked directly at his sister's eyes, his of hazel meeting hers of startling green.
"I would like nothing more than to be apart of my family, and get to know each and every one of you as I did Freya over a thousand years ago."
A tear ran down Isa's face as she contemplated what to do with this new information when a voice echoed through the cavern, "What the bloody hell is he doing here?!"
Isa turned to see her husband, a murderous look on his face as he beheld his brother.
