(A/N: So this one is set before chapter 85 and before Father Kieran died and obviously it's not completely the same as the actual deleted scene (which is linked above) but I hope you enjoy it. XxD)

"I say we just kill them all."

"Niklaus, we cannot simply execute all the witches of New Orleans just because a few of them pose a problem," Elijah retorted from where he sat behind a desk in the library of the compound, Nik on an armchair whilst Isa sat with her legs up on an ornate sofa from the 1910s.

"Well, if you consider trying to kill all of us, my miracle of a child included, not a big enough problem to warrant an execution then forgive me, brother, for I don't know what problem would be significant enough."

Elijah rolled his eyes at his younger brother.

"Not to mention, how they will protest at the creation of the moonlight rings, rings that we need to secure our alliance with the wolves. Without them at full strength, we won't have a chance at finally ending this and uniting this city," Nik continued but Elijah only set his sights on Isa.

"Isa, you're awfully quiet. I'm rather surprised you don't have anything to say about this conversation," he mused and Isa only sighed heavily as she held her bloated belly.

"This conversation is going to end in bloody conflict if miracle baby doesn't stop punching my internal organs," she groaned at her stomach, her daughter seeming to be very active as she sensed her mother's stress.

Nik was instantly on his feet, taking two steps towards her as Elijah shot up and moved around the desk in a few long strides.

"What's the matter?" Nik asked his wife worriedly, Elijah mirroring his expression as Isa merely gave them all a small smile as she held up a gentle hand.

"Baby's fine. I'm fine," she promised, their concern calming as she felt safe in their presence.

"Are you sure?" Elijah questioned and Isa's smile grew a little more as she held out her hand, flexing her fingers as she invited her brother-in-law closer.

"You haven't felt her kick yet, have you?" she questioned as Elijah took her hand and his breath hitched at the question.

"No. I, uh, I don't believe I have."

"Do you want to?" she asked with a cheeky grin that was met with a breathless laugh as Elijah knelt down and allowed his sister to guide his hands onto her stomach.

It took a second, almost as if the baby was sensing who was there before Elijah let out a small gasp as he felt a kick beneath Isa's skin.

"It is extraordinary," he muttered, Isa just smiling at him as her daughter moved but didn't kick.

"She's calmed. She likes your voice," she announced as Elijah met her eyes, his threatening to water at the complete and utter miracle that was his unborn niece. "She likes Nik's too. When she can't sleep and rolls around all night, he reads to her and she's out like a light."

Elijah turned to his brother who only held a proud smile, a relieved smile that his daughter already liked him.

He then dared to lower his lips to Isa's belly as he whispered, "You aren't even here yet and you're already so loved. And we shall spend every day reminding you of that, always and forever."

Elijah then kissed Isa's stomach, as she sighed happily, her eyes closing.

"She's happy. I like to think she's trying to tell us that she loves us too," she said as she looked from her brother to her husband.

"Well, I would think so now that she knows her uncle is such a sap," Nik joked.

"Must you ruin the moment I was trying to have with my niece with your sarcasm, Niklaus?" Elijah sassed as he stood, straightening his blazer.

Nik only smirked.

"Seeing as you protest against my plan to slaughter the witches in hopes that Father Kieran is cured and we'll finally be rid of Genevieve and have the wolves armed with moonlight rings on our side... then yes."

Elijah simply rolled his eyes at Nik as Isa moved to stand, only for her legs to turn to jelly under her.

"Oh," she exhaled as she suddenly became very light-headed, Elijah catching one arm whilst Nik sped to catch her other and the brothers eased her back onto the couch.

"Are you alright?" Nik asked worriedly as he pushed the hair behind her ears and tried to get her eyes to meet his.

"I'm dizzy. I think she's hungry. Very hungry. I don't know where that came from all of a sudden," Isa rambled as she still held onto Nik and Elijah.

"Take her to bed Niklaus and make sure she stays there. I'll fetch some blood bags and some actual food," Elijah instructed as his brother nodded.

Nik then eased his wife into his arms as he scooped her up, Elijah speeding off to retrieve the food. At least this was a problem they could solve - they didn't know if they could solve the problem Genevieve and the witches posed to their child, they could only hope they could.
