Both girls waited until Elena had vanished behind the bathroom door to begin talking.

"Sorry about that Kat. Elena can't know that we're working together until I get my hands on that cure."

"Well, you know what Isa said. I can't give it to you if Elena is with you. Especially since that means that the Salvatore brothers won't be far behind. Pains in the ass, all of them. Anyways where is Isa? I haven't heard from her and she was supposed to come and meet me two days ago."

Rebekah's face grew worried but she pushed it away with a sigh. "I haven't heard from her either, but unless it was something even more important than getting the cure, she would be here. I know that much. And if something was wrong Nik would've called. He hasn't yet."

"Looks like we're going with Plan C then," Katherine stated as she sat back in the booth seat.

"Is he here?" Rebekah asked and Katherine's smile was mischievous.

"He's the one she's going to meet."

Rebekah laughed. "That's going to be fun. I hope he kills her."

"He won't. I've known and loved the man long enough to know he won't. Not until he makes them pay for hurting his family. He knows I'll give him the cure if I can't get it to you or Isa first. But Elena, he'll recognise her instantly."

Rebekah smirked, not hearing anything else after Katherine's first sentence. "So you still love him?"

"We're... friends, you could say."

"Yeah, right. 'Friends'," Rebekah laughed.

"I'm sorry about Kol by the way," Katherine said and Rebekah's smile vanished as Katherine kept talking. "He told me what happened after Isa sent him here to find me."

Rebekah softened as she thought about Kol.

"You know, you're not as half bad as you make yourself out to seem, Katherine."

"I'll take that as a compliment," the brunette smirked before all smiles fell and Elena walked out from the bathroom, make-up done to try and impersonate Katherine.

"What do you think?" Elena grinned as she flaunted her hair and face after taking her seat again, bag thrown on the seat next to her.

"It's close. Not quite slutty enough. Think you need more eyeliner," Rebekah commented before smiling at the look Katherine sent her, both of them were quite the actresses.

Elena chuckled before looking at Katherine. "I'm gonna need your clothes."

"Yeah, that's gonna happen," Katherine scoffed.

"Fine. Your bracelet, watch, earrings. Hand them over," Elena ordered, pulling the fork that Rebekah had stabbed into her hand out, Katherine grunting as she did.

The brunette sighed heavily, annoyed, as she pulled off the required items and threw them over the table at Elena who began to put them on.

"And your other bracelet," Elena said.

"That's my daylight bracelet. It's daytime outside. I'm gonna need it," Katherine sassed as if it should've been obvious, which it was. "Besides, it's not going to work on you."

"Fine. I really am going to need that jacket though."

Katherine only crossed her arms defiantly over her chest and Elena turned to Rebekah, who began to pull it from the girl, pulling on her hair in the process.

"Alright. Fine! Fine! Fine!" Katherine relented and Rebekah let go as she slid the Jacket from her shoulders. "This will never work you know? The bad haircut. The doe eyes, you'll never pass for me."
