My mind was clouded with a high pitched ringing. I couldn't open my eyes. I could feel my head spinning as I tried to regain consciousness. It hurts like fuck, though. The throbbing pain on my head doubled as I felt cold water splash all over my body. I gasped as I felt the ice on my lap. My eyes opened and the sight of a blonde woman, along with a tall man stood before me. I tried moving my arms, but they were tied tightly to the chair I was sitting on, along with my feet. I couldn't move an inch as I struggled. I could feel the rope burn into my flesh as I moved.

"Good, you're awake!" Luna, the one who was before me, clapped. The man beside her draped his arm over her shoulder. She gave him a dirty look, and shrugged it off, breaking any physical contact between them. As the blurriness in my eyes cleared up, I saw who it was. The shock I felt crept up my veins as I recognized the familiar hazel eyes, the neatly combed hair, and his signature tight-lipped smile.

I scowled at him as I spoke.

"Diego fucking Heaves."

The man snapped his head towards me with a smile.

"Nice to see you too, baby."

Luna's eyes went back and forth between us as we never broke eye contact. Confusion was evident on her face as she opened her mouth to speak. She raised a finger as she spoke with a light awkward grin on her face.

"You guys know each other or did I skip a chapter?" She chuckled. I glared at the guy beside her as he never took his eyes off of me.

"Oh yeah, we do. I know her more than you do, honey," Diego responds with a sinister smile.

Let me fill you in on how I know that sick bastard. For one, as you might remember, I told Eddy about a guy I dated when I was 16. Yes, the very same guy who I broke up with, but he pleaded for me to come back. And so, I granted his wish. Let us skip forward throughout the two continuous months that we dated, again. But this guy had the audacity to break up with me over the phone with his friends laughing about it, just because his ego couldn't swallow the fact that the girl left him first. Asshole. He still is one, and that pretty much explains why he's currently in front of me, practically stripping Luna with his disgusting stare.

"Hm, really?" Luna questions as she throws away the bucket in the corner of the room. The loud bang rang as Diego stared at her. I tried to move as I scraped the chair on the floor's surface. Their attention moved back to me as I observed my surroundings. The moment I did, I really wish I didn't.

Tools, obviously used for... you know, making one go through extreme pain and suffering, physically and mentally as well, called torture, was scattered on the table. They laid on the red cloth that covered its surface. My heart sunk as I swallowed the lump on my throat. I could feel my nails sink into my hand as nervousness tickled my veins.

"Yeah. Dated in high school, but like most love shit, we didn't end up too well," Diego answered as he stepped towards me. He leaned in front of my face as I gave him the dirtiest look I could muster. I scowled at him as he smiles at me. His hand reached out to tuck a strand of hair behind my ear, but before he could touch me, I spoke up.

"Don't you fucking dare touch me, Diego. You know you were the one who fucked up. We both know it," I growled at him. His eyes searched mine for a while before he burst in laughter. My face contorted in confusion, and in the corner of my eye, I could see Luna, puzzled too.

"The hell you laughing for, dickhead?" I snapped at him. He wiped a tear from his eyes as he brought his intense stare back at mine. He inched closer to me as I tried staying away as far as possible. His lips moved as he spoke.
