In tears I heard him ask "what kind of help do you need?"
What do you say to such a question
What do you do when you don't even know
In tears a sighed unsure of myself
"I don't even know."
He heard the pain I didn't know I had
He listened to be when I couldn't hear myself
"I'm here for you."
I felt my tears fall harder
So much emotion I felt in that moment
So venerable for the first time
I don't know what I'm doing
I don't know where I'm going
I don't know how to get there
But my words felt real in that moment
His words sounded sincere
"Thank you." I said in tears
I had sobbed
Weeped
Cried beyond belief
And still be chose to help me
In tears I realized what a joy therapy can be
