Does perfection exist?
Is it the way a little creek flows forever to the pond
Or the way the fish have learned to swim up the water
Or the way the rain evaporates and comes pouring back down
Is it to dance with somebody you love
To waltz and whisper sweet nothings to the tone of silence
To smile and laugh and scream "I love you more than anything!"
To feel at peace, to be able to do nothing and feel content
Is it the art of achievement and how people strive
Maybe the way the reward is so much sweeter if you've tried that little bit harder
Is it the way we feel pride in all the good that we do
Is it the way we have dreams lining our pockets?
Does perfection exist? You could ask a million people and hear a billion answers
I don't know what perfection is, but if I had a guess
I'd say perfection is constant and consistent with life
Wherever life thrives, perfection is there.
