I woke up the next morning and just stared blankly out my window . I was wishing last night was a dream but by the two luggage's that was sitting in the middle of my bedroom floor it was very much my reality.
All i could think about was East , as soon as I felt like i was so close to having the boy i loved the most he was getting snatched away .
My mom said my plane left at 7 but we had to be to the airport by 6 , it was currently 10 in the morning and I knew I had to see East and my girls and tell them that I was leaving .
I got up and looked for my phone but I couldn't find it , then I remembered that i left it on the couch dead last night .
I walked out my room and went into the bathroom to bush my teeth and wash my face . Once i was done i checked my moms room to see if she was here but she wasn't .
I made my way to the living room and got my phone off the couch . Once I got it i went back into my room to put it on the charger and grab something to throw on after my shower .
The whole time I was in the shower I cried . i literally felt like my life was in shambles right now . I just couldn't believe this .
Once i got out the shower I dried off , put lotion on my body then headed to my room to slip something on.
My phone had powered on so i figured it was the perfect time to call East and the girls and let them all know that I needed to talk to them .
When I picked up my phone and put my passcode in my heart literally dropped to the pit of my stomach. I had countless missed calls and text messages from East , Nari , Des and Yaya .
I immediately called East back but his phone was going to voicemail so I called Nari . She literally answered on the second ring .
Omg Kai what the hell why haven't you been answering your phone ? We've all been blowing you up like crazy since last night .
You wouldn't even believe the night I had Nari , but what's going on , I called East but his phone is going straight to voicemail.
Nari went silent on the other end of the phone .
Kanari why aren't you saying anything, what's going on .
Kai , Mitch was murdered last night .
Tears instantly ran down my eyes .
Within these last two months me and Mitch had got so cool , any time East was on the phone with him he would always tell East to give me the phone and we'd sit on the phone just laughing and cracking jokes , East use to be so mad because we were always talking and making jokes about him .
Whenever I went to Harlem with East I would spend the whole time laughing because Mitch was so funny .
I knew East was hurting bad right now . Mitch was his right hand , his best friend , his brother . If there was anyone East would listen too that would be Mitch , he trusted him with his life .
Nari where is he ?
He downstairs , do you want me to come get you ?
Please .
Ok I'm on my way .
I put on some shoes and went and stood outside , i was waiting on the curb literally. I didn't even know what I would say to East , i just wanted to hug him and never let him go .
About 25 minutes later Nari , Yaya and Des pulled up and I immediately jumped in the backseat and Des pulled off .
It was quiet for a minute, until I finally decided to speak .
