Life these last 5 1/2 years has been an emotional roller coaster. My first year in Georgia was hell . I was young and going through so much , but I managed to still keep on pushing .
I ended up graduating high school a year early and took online courses at a business college . Once I turned 18 i attended Clark Atlanta university where I got a degree in Business Communication .
I had been in Atlanta for two years before I even decided to speak with my mom . Our relationship is better now and I'm hoping that one day we'll back to how we once were .
She's been out for a year now , and since her release she's move to Philly with her boyfriend Alonzo , he's cool and he makes her happy so therefore I'm happy for them both .
I didn't think I'd ever return back to this city but a great job opportunity presented its self and well , here I am . I haven't spoke to Des , Yaya or Nari in 4 years . It's like once I moved we all just drifted apart and I'll admit it's mainly my fault . I completely shut down and ghosted them . I miss them like crazy and one thing i plan to do while I'm back is make amends with them . If they choose to not forgive me I'd totally understand. But I at least have to try and right my wrongs .
My phone begin to ring snapping me out of my thoughts . It was my mom calling so I answered.

I'm going to head to a few stores and grab somethings . I have absolutely nothing here but my clothes . I don't mind sleeping on the floor for one nite but I at least need covers .
