We've been back in New York for a week now and I've been on straight chill mode. Kai has been staying at her old apartment and I've been staying at my Nanas. I wasn't over the shit that she did but I wasn't gone walk around holding the shit against her. My daughter was my main concern and as long as she was here with me I was thankful.
Rico was shot once in the shoulder but he was good. It was fucked up that June died at the hands of his own father but that whole situation was deeper than me. I haven't seen Ali and I don't know rather Kai has or hasn't either. When I go to her crib we keep the conversation minimum I'm over there for my daughter not her so talking to her or not doesn't make me any difference.
It was a little after 11a.m. and I knew my baby was up by now so I was headed to see her. Once I made it to Kai's building I headed inside and took the elevator to her floor. Making my way to her door I knocked and waited for her to open it.

I stepped inside and looked around. When they deliver yo stuff?
This morning. She's in the back I'll go get her.
I walked over and took a seat on the couch and waited for her to bring Kaiari.
Look dada here she said handing me my daughter.
Hey mami you got your hair done I said smiling at my daughter looking at the lil shit Kai did to her hair. I sat on the couch and chilled with my daughter and decided to FaceTime Rico and check up on him.
