Hearing East speak at our wedding reception had the water works flowing from my eyes. I couldn't even believe that he remembered making that promise all those years ago in Nana Sheila's basement. Once he was done it was only right that I said a few words too. I stood up and grabbed the mic from him.
I just want to start off by saying, I married my best friend today. I loved you before I even knew what love even was for real. And like you said we've definitely been through some things but I'm grateful for every last thing we've ever been though both good and bad because all that did was molded us the most solid foundation. There isn't anything that can break us, and I mean that whole heartedly, they tried everything and they failed. East I've done some wrong, I've also made some bad decisions. But the one thing that I got right was deciding to spend the rest of my life with you. I love you and I can't wait to spend forever with you. FOREVER US I said raising my glass.
