Flopping onto her couch face buried in her cushions letting out a huge sigh. Maddie had been baking and wrapping presents all day since dropping Morgan off at school. It was almost time to go get Morgan and all she wanted to do was nap, setting her timer for 5 minutes, closing her eyes, and throwing her phone on the table. No sooner did she fall asleep James walked in seeing her splayed out on her couch, the room smelled like gingerbread, pumpkin, cranberries, blueberries, and apples. Walking over to the kitchen seeing naked gingerbread man, mini pumpkin pies, cranberry, blueberry crisp, and caramel apples. Smiling at his little chef creations he walked over to the couch grabbing her phone seeing there was 2 minutes left on her timer, turning off the timer he grabbed the festive blanket she laid on her couch covering her up. Walking over to her purse by the front door, grabbing her car keys and headed to pick up Morgan.
"Hi I am here to pick up Morgan" walking into her classroom seeing an older gentleman handing each student their lunch boxes. "Oh hello, and you are?" reaching his hand out to shake James hand "I'm James I work with Stark" shaking his hand watching the light turn on inside the man's head "Oh you're Sergeant Barnes, Morgan just ran to the bathroom she should be back in a few, here is her lunch box." nodding his head "If you don't mind me asking where is Madison?"
"She is back at the tower, she is making Morgan some gingerbread man so they can decorate and they were still in the oven and she didn't want to leave them unattended and she didn't trust me to take them out so she sent me" smiling to the old man. "That sounds like her she is so sweet isn't she" the old man smiling back to James clutching his chest "The sweetest"
"BUCKY!!" Morgan runs from the restroom wrapping her arms around his legs "Hey Morgan" reaching down picking her up "Where's Maddie" looking behind him "She is at the tower with a surprise for you" dancing around in his arms "Ready to go see Maddie" nodding her she jumps down and runs to get her backpack holding his hand as they walk to the car.
Walking into the apartment Maddie was still asleep on the couch, quickly grabbing Morgan before she could jump on her "Why don't we go get something to snack on?" smiling brightly at James walking back towards the elevator "Just give me a second and I will be right there" walking over to the table grabbing Maddie phone setting a timer for 10 minutes, then sending her a text "I got Morgan she is with me on the team floor" once in the elevator.
10 minutes later Maddie came walking into the team floor to see Morgan on James shoulders dancing to Baby Shark, taking out her phone recording them singing in unison
