"James..." snapping her fingers from across the room. Blinking his attention back to doctor Raynor. "Mr. Stark already told me about your offer" staring back at her with no answer "What are you thinking right now James"

"How can I turn it into an hour and not two weeks and not have a reaction" twiddling with his thumbs "You can't, which is going to be something you need to face"

"I don't want to leave her...and what if something goes wrong" readjusting on her spot "What do you think is going to go wrong?"

"Lots of things. What if I have a reaction that I can't get out of. What if I kill someone during the reaction. What if after it's all said and done I don't..." trailing off his sentence "I don't what James?"

"Remember..." looking down at the ground now looking at the sticker on his shoe that Willow put on from her giant sticker pack she got from Sam for her birthday.

"You haven't forgotten before after you have been woken up"

"No but sometimes I'm in a daze for a few minutes afterwards and it feels like a lifetime until the daze is gone. It always worried me before that I wouldn't remember anything once I woke up but now..." turning his attention to the giant windows looking over the center of the building where there are trees and flowers and picnic tables for guests and staff.

"...I can't forget my kids. I can't forget the woman I love and want to marry. If I would've gotten this before I met her I would've taken it in a heartbeat I would've been running to Wakanda the moment Tony would've mentioned it, I wouldn't have cared how long it would've taken it could've taken a decade and I wouldn't have cared I already have 70 years of my life missing what's another ten going to do...but I don't even want to be gone for an hour, this is an hour I lose of being with my kid and girl"

"But this is where you open up, this is where you let everything out. You haven't' even spoken to Maddie about this"

"Because I know she will say to go, and I want my mind to want me to go not just her"

"You think Maddie would want that?"

"Ya she always wants what is best for me" reaching into the bowl next to her tossing him a plum "What do plums mean to you?" catching it without even looking holding it into his lap "They help with memory apparently"

"Do you think they worked?" shrugging his shoulders "Don't know, all I know is a majority of my money went to buying them at one point"

"You'll eat them again then"

"I don't want to rely on a fruit to help my memory I rather have a brain that actually remembers"

"You have photos, you take many of them. You brought the book Maddie made for you and you talked about each one in detail. The pictures from your parents that they donated, you talk about in detail and that was 80 years ago. Your memory will come back James, you can't let the fear of that stop you. You have hundreds probably thousand of photos of your life in the past 3 years, all of them you can use to help yourself" taking a deep breath before biting into the plum "I got to think about it"

Looking down at Maddie fast asleep curled up on the pillow with another pillow holding her bump. Her hands out in the open with one hand on his chest and the other on his arm. Her hair pulled back in braids and her bump shining with the moisture covering it to help with stretch marks.

Sliding himself out of bed peaking into Willow room seeing her sleeping with her upper body on the mattress and her lower half on the ground as she fell asleep playing with her toys. Shutting the door carefully behind him to try and keep her asleep.
