Maddie and Nat finished putting their bags and Maddie car and were on the road, they had a 3 hour drive to the cabin. There was a few inches of snow that night and once they got the all clear that the roads were open and they were off. "Meant to thank you that book was hot" playfully rolling her eyes "You're welcome"

"I can see why you haven't shown Barnes I would be a little scared too"

"Especially the kitchen scene, that is intense"

"I know! And I know James knows his way around a knife but that is still a little scary"

"He has toy knives he practices with maybe you can use those before stepping up to real knives"

"He has toy knives?"

"Ya he uses them in the gym, practicing new ways to switch in his hand without the attacker seeing or being able to throw it and have it either slice or stick in the person, he uses the fake so he doesn't cut himself or one of us when we train with him"

"Huh, I can always bring it up"

"I better find no bloody knives anywhere once you transition to real ones"

"No promises" laughing together staring up at the mountains coming into view "Here comes the long part"

Arriving at the cabin it was not as big as Maddie would have thought, it was more on the cozy side then the expensive modern side she thought Tony would have purchased. Walking into the warm cabin seeing a fire roaring in the living room to their right. Looking at Morgan and Wanda playing together. Nat guides them upstairs to the bedrooms, showing Maddie her room that was at the end of the hallway next to Steve's room. Throwing their bags down they walked downstairs finding the boys in the game room watching football, they were all cheering from a touchdown, everyone was clothed except for Steve and James who were wearing basketball shorts and nothing else "Why the hell is Steve and James half naked" Maddie questions walking in "Oh hey Mads" Steve smiling at Maddie looking her up and down before snapping his eyes back to her face "They have a fire going and it is too hot for me and Bucky. This serum makes our bodies always hot and so the fire is just making us sweat so this is comfortable for us" nodding her head glancing over at James shirtless and looked hella ripped as always, Steve is ripped but he is more lean, while James is beefy, Beefy Bucky. "Gotcha, can I join you I didn't watch last nights game"

"Of course" Steve pats her shoulder bringing her over to the couch "Oh wait I didn't say hi to Morgan or Wanda yet, be right back" slipping past Steve to go back to the living room where Wanda and Morgan were.

Walking in, Morgan saw her and jumped up and ran to Maddie wrapping her arm around her neck as Maddie bent down. "Miss you sweet pea, hey Wands, how's it going?"

"Good, Pepper left to go get some matching sweaters for all of us, being her corny self"

"Matching sweaters?"

"Yep, every year, it is honestly really cute, but James and Tony hate it." rolling her eyes sitting next to them to play with them a little bit.

Sitting between Steve and Sam sipping on some beer watching the game with them, the boys get really excited when their team gets a touch down they all jump up and high-five each other smacking each other on the back knocking the wind out of Sam and Tony. "What kind of call is that are you fucking blind!" Maddie yells about to chuck her beer at the TV not before Sam grabbed it out of her hand "Maddie calm down" Sam says holding the beer away from her "It was a terrible call his knee clearly hit the ground before anything else it's bad call and they aren't fixing it" getting upset trying to grab her drink back, crawling on top of Sam to grab the drink. Steve grabbing her feet pulling her off of Sam, her feet and legs going over his lap "Remind me to never bring you to a football game" turning her head to look over her shoulder "You guys go to football games?" all them nodding their heads "Yep, we go to the Super Bowl every year" flipping her body around so her ass is back to being on the couch and not up in the air "I want to go!"
