Don't Mess With Me

Chapter 5

Walking into the kitchen almost everyone had their food except for Wanda and Clint, they were still grabbing food.

"Hey girl, we are having burgers, hot dogs, and wings, and of course like a billion of sides"

"Nope the only billion we have is me" Tony says pointing to himself "A hundred billion to be exact"

"We get it Tony, you've made a name for yourself" Nat speaks up

"You know what Romanoff I-"

"Quit it both of you" Steve interrupts

"Is millions okay to say then Tony" Maddie chuckles as she grabs a burger

Tony looks over at Maddie giving the start of a dirty look

"Oh so scary" Maddie laughs back "Put that dirty look back in your pocket"

Tony begins to speak before Nat gives him a shove warning to keep quiet

After grabbing her dinner Maddie sits down in the last seat. Right next to James. James makes an effort to make himself as big as possible, man-spreading to a ridiculous amount and putting his elbows on the table, putting his elbows into Maddie space.

Maddie eventually fights back putting her elbows on the table and giving a quick shove to James's elbow causing him to drop his burger into his lap.

"Really Maddie?" James barks out

"Na uh, I can't call you Bucky you can't call me Maddie"

"It's a name"

"Okay, BUCKY, what's wrong"

"Don't -"

"What it's just a name"

James is not looking away from Maddie, giving her a cold hard death stare.

"You had to shove my arm and make me drop my burger"

"You literally put your entire arm over into my area, you got the same treatment"

"I needed room"

"Then move your seat over then you are at the end of the table"

"Your like two feet tall you don't need that much room"

"I'm 5'1" to be exact, is your mop of hair blocking your view?"

"Im glad its blocking my view, it means I don't have to look at your hideous face"

"That's enough Barnes" Nat yells out from across the table

"She started it"

"I did not"

"Yes you did!"

"Okay that's enough, Maddie take my spot and Tony take Bucky spot" Wanda speaks up from the other end of the table

"This is my spot" Tony says with a mouth full of food

"Tony, just move" Pepper interrupts

"But"

"Move"

"Fine" Tony mumbles as he grabs a plate and moves to Bucky spot.

Bucky and Maddie now on opposite sides of the table giving dirty looks to one another. Everyone else is quiet trying to keep an argument from starting.

Bucky was the first one to finish and started walking out of the kitchen.

"Don't let the door hit you on the way out" Maddie yells out

"Fuck you"

"Fuck you" she replies back with a middle finger

James keeps walking out not noticing the middle finger.
