Chapter 99

Standing up looking at her body in the mirror freshly out of the shower lathering herself in lotion. Turning to the side pushing her stomach out trying to see what she would look like with a belly. 9 weeks along and no bump, she has been looking at youtube videos of people taking photos of their belly growing week by week and all of them are showing by now even if its barely but not for Maddie. 

Walking into her room fully naked seeing Wanda and Nat standing their with their arms crossed over their chest "hey guys?" she says with a worry tone walking to her closet slipping on a shirt and some shorts. "When were you going to tell us you were pregnant" letting out a big sigh crawling back into bed "Soon"

"When is soon?"

"Christmas" watching them walk to her taking a seat on her bed. "Why so long?" Nat asks "Doctor put me on bed rest for my entire 1st trimester to help not miscarry. And my 1st trimesters over on December 23rd. And if I got the okay from the doctor me and Bucky were going to drive up to the cabin and meet you guys and then we were going to tell you" leaning back on the headboard. "oh" they say in unison feeling bad

"So how far are you right now?"

"9 weeks" looking between them "That's good and no complications?"

"None as of right now, I don't get up out of this bed, only to use the bathroom, get a snack, move to the couch, or walk the hallway to stretch my legs but Bucky doesn't let me walk for more than 10 minutes at a time" hearing the front door open and close listening to Bucky heavy footsteps get louder walking in with a smoothie "Got you a sm-" stopping seeing the girls sitting on the bed. 

"Got you that smoothie to help with the migraines doll" walking around the bed handing it to her "They know" taking it from him "How?"

"Ya how I never asked" taking a big sip from her smoothie. "Me and Wanda came to get one of your porn books and we heard the shower so we didn't want to bother you so we went to the stash and I seen the  ultrasounds pinned on the cork board."

"I knew we should've hid those" Bucky says rubbing the top of Maddie head letting the cool of her damp hair chill his hand. "Ya but I didn't think they would see it all the way over there. That reminds did you clean the litter box out?"

"Yes I did it this morning" leaning down kissing her head. "Now that you too know I can do this and not have to wait until you two leave" pulling the blankets back leaning down kissing Maddie stomach "Hi" speaking to her stomach before pulling the blanket back over her.

"I think my ovaries just exploded that was very cute" Nat says "You don't even have a uterus how do your ovaries explode?" Wanda teases looking to Nat "You know what I meant"

"We will keep your secret" as Wanda zips her mouth shut "Thanks and Tony and Pepper know since I had to tell them about the bed rest."

"Good we can talk to them about it" both of them sliding off the bed "We are going to steal some of your books" 

"Buck"

"On it" walking with the girls "Why does he have to come?"

"Because there are books in there that we are about to read and I don't need you two taking them away before we read them and he knows which ones they are."

"Why don't you keep them in your room then?"

"Because I will get overwhelmed and speed through the reading instead of enjoying them."

"Oh we know you sure enjoy them" Wanda says winking at he walking out to the kitchen. Listening to the bickering back and forth with Bucky on which books they want, "You are not taking Birthday Girl I am starting that tomorrow!" Maddie shouts hearing them trying to take it "Boo no fun!" Nat shouts back. Rolling her eyes turning her TV on as she curls up to watch Gossip Girls.
