Chapter 31--- Can't give up

Hagel's POV

" What the fuck is going on?!" I boom, struck by the happenings in front of me.

I run towards the fighting Fiona and Hazel and tear them apart.
I don't understand what the hell is happening as I try to keep a distance between the two.

I'm gape mouthed as I take in the torn dress of Fiona, ripped from the arm down, barely holding.
" What the hell is this about?!" I asked with irritation.
I watch from Bethany to my mother, to the fuming Fiona, shielding Hazel behind me as I demanded an answer.

I glared at Fiona and part of my chest lifted at the sight of her. She had claw marks all over her face, her hair disheveled so badly that she looked like a tornado passed over her.
I turn to examine Hazel and she barely had a scratch, her cheeks flamed red and  just that her eyes were blazing hot with rage and she was shivering from anger.

Fierce. She's fierce.

" That savage attacked Fiona!" My mom shrieked out, her anger evident as she glared behind me at Hazel.
" That's not true!" Hazel defended, trying to move past me. I restrain her.
Damn she's wild.

" Stop lying you bitch!" Fiona's angry voice screamed.
She looked so angry. I don't remember ever seeing her like that.
" What happened?" I heaved out a frustrated breath, directing my question to Bethany but all of them spoke out so loud at the same time.

" Shut up! All of you" I snapped, obviously startling them. My Mom shook her head in disbelief and Fiona suddenly was at the verge of tearing up.
" Fiona came in a while ago and started calling Hazel names, insulting her and me and... Our parents. Hazel lost it and then attacked Fiona. Your mother won't let me separate them and ...."

" You silly girl!" My mom's voice cut Bethany off.
" Mom!" I'm beyond frustrated now.
" Don't you dare yell at me! I want that savage out of my house by tomorrow. And don't you dare go against me Hagel, I'll disown you!"

I mess my hair, trying to control my breath.
" Baby, she's a witch! I'm sure she's bewitched you and even Jayden!"
I don't think I've ever been so annoyed at hearing Fiona speak.

" If you say another word, I'll snap your neck" I say lowly, making Fiona gasp , sobbing.
I felt a sharp pain on my cheeks as my mom's palms connected with my cheeks.
" How dare you!. How dare you threaten her like that. Have you lost it!. Kick that garbage out before morning or I swear to God, both her and sister won't be far from beggars on the street!"

" I'll leave on my own. " Hazel says , stepping away from me. I gripped her wrists.
" Let me go Hagel" she says, her eyes still blazing.
" No"  I'm not going to let her leave on her own at this hour of the night.
" Let her go Hagel" My Mom's daring voice said.
" Let's go" I say and dragged Hazel after me, heading out of the house.
I don't even spare a glance at anyone, ignoring the threats from Vidal to disown me.

I let go of Hazel's wrists once we're at my place In the gardens.
I head up and picked the keys to my truck.
She says nothing and her still angry eyes regarded me coldly as I approached her.
God help me but even this angry, I find her irresistible.

" What the fuck do you think you're doing huh?. You think I need your help? I need you acting all heroic and saving me? Huh?" She spews in a low but cold tone.

She's hurting. And that's her way of shielding herself. It's fine by me. I would take it all.
" Oh, you're the saviour of the day?. I don't need anybody saving me!. And I don't need anyone to defend me." She pours out, wiping her tears that suddenly begun to fall furiously.
She throws her hands about angrily as she speaks.
She's breaking down.
