(Y/N)'s POV:

Hello. My name is (Y/N). Honestly, there's nothing much to say about me. I'm twenty-seven years old, I have (H/C) hair, (E/C) eyes, and, really, I'm just like the girl you walk past in the streets and pay no attention to. I know you were probably expecting me to have some form of a personality trait that would make me different but, really, I'm just a normal girl. I'm not mute, I'm not rich, I'm not an adventurer, I'm not in a relationship. I'm just like your neighbor or the cashier in the market. But I don't mind. But we all know each other.

I moved from New York to Kansas a few years ago because I wanted to escape to the country. It's nice here and I love it. I became friends with a farm girl named Dorothy Gale around when I first arrived here. At the moment, she's only sixteen but that doesn't stop us from being friends. We love each other's company. Speaking of Dorothy, I'm on my way to see her. We had arranged a day where we just hung out and talked and maybe help around the field. But I soon saw her leaving her farm in the opposite direction from the town. What's that about? I caught up with her.

"Dorothy! Where are you off to?" I asked

"I'm running away with Toto!" Dorothy said

"Why? What happened?"

"Miss Gulch tried to take Toto away for chasing her cat. It wasn't his fault! He can't help it!"

"Hey, hey, hey. I know. But that doesn't mean you should run away."

"I have to or she'll take him again!"

"Okay then. Well, I'm coming just to make sure you're safe."

"Okay."

So, we started walking to god knows where. I know something will change her mind so that's why I didn't take her straight home. She's done this before but came home eventually. As we walked, we saw a wagon just across from a bridge. On the side, it said, "Professor Marvel, Acclaimed by the Crowned Heads of Europe. Let Him Read Your Past, Present, and Future in His Crystal. Also Juggling and Sleight of Hand." So he's a fortune teller. I know they're a scam but maybe he can convince Dorothy to go home.

We went over to the wagon where this Professor walked out. He saw us and started doing what he does best. Trying to guess what we're doing. After a few guesses, he figured out that Dorothy was running away. Well, he got that part right. He then asked why before also guessing. But he quickly got it right. Dorothy was impressed that he could practically read her mind. I say it's just a lucky guess. Toto then ate a sausage that the Professor was cooking for his dinner. Dorothy scolded him for it but the Professor said it was fine.

Dorothy asked if all three of us could come with him to see the crowned heads of Europe like his wagon said. He clearly hasn't been to any but he said he wasn't doing anything until he consulted his crystal. So, he was going to try and read the future for us. Well, if he makes up something believable, Dorothy will be off home in no time. Good, because I was actually believing that she was serious this time. He let us in the wagon and sat us down in front of the crystal ball. He asked us to close our eyes so he could properly perform his 'magic'.

To be honest, his story to make us leave to go home was very believable so I'll give him that. He talked about Dorothy's Aunt, Auntie Em. He explained that she was crying because Dorothy ran away and that she was dying of a broken heart because she had done so much for Dorothy and she just ran off. After hearing all this terrible news, Dorothy was determined to go home and help her Aunt. So, we started to run back to the farm as the wind started to pick up a lot. This is way too strong to be a normal windy day.

Well, as we got closer to the farm, you could see a twister coming right towards us! Okay, that's much worse and I'm not going to try and run home with that possibly on my tail the whole way. With tumbleweeds and God knows what else flying at us, we made it to the house where we went in for a bit of shelter. We searched for her family but they were already in the storm cellar by now. We tried to get in but they had already locked it. We're suck out here! So, we just went inside to Dorothy's room. We were safe until the window blew off and knocked Dorothy unconscious!

Not good! I tried to wake her but quickly ducked under the bed when the twister arrived! I got out when it seemed safer and looked out the window. Outside of Dorothy's bedroom window, a picket fence and a tree floated by and Dorothy finally woke up as a chicken coop floated by. Dorothy sat up and looked out with me as an old lady knits in a rocking chair. She waved to us and we waved back. A cow floated by mooing and Toto looked out the window and barked at it. Two men in a rowboat floated by and gave friendly gestures to us as we continued to look on.

Hold on, we're inside the twister?! How?! Miss Gilch floated by still riding her bicycle. As Miss Gulch continued to pedal, she suddenly transformed into a witch wearing a pointed hat, a cape, and rode on a flying broomstick. Dorothy looked away in fear as the Witch cackled evilly. The house continued to spin as Dorothy screamed while holding on to Toto. I, just stayed with them so they knew I was okay. Then the house flew down and it landed on the ground. Are we safe? Are we back in Kansas? Only one way to find out, I suppose.
