12 : puppy smile

You opened your eyes and saw a hooded person standing in front of you. You were about to scream when the person covered your mouth and put a knife near your throat.

"You have 14 hours to enjoy your time with him. Better not let it go to waste. Hehe" the person said and ran out of the window. You screamed.

You woke up screaming for Jake. You could hear Jake asking you to open the door.

"Babe?! What happen?! Open the door!" he said banging the door.

You couldn't move and you hugged your knees, crying.

"This darn door!" he shouted as he uses his body to break the door. The door broke into pieces and Jake came running to you. He climbed up the bed and hugged you.

"You had a nightmare? Its okay. Its okay, im here baby" he said caressing your head.

'it felt so real.. who is that'   

you thought as your cried in his arms.

"don't leave me..." you begged as you hugged him tighter.

"Yes baby im here.. im here.." he reassured you. He hugged you and saw the window opened.

"Why is the window open? Did you not close it before sleeping?" He asked, still caressing your hair.

You stayed silent.

'was it real? Is this really happening?'

"i- i don't know" you muttered.

He stood up and closed the window. He came back to you and hugged you again. After a few hours, the sun has set and you have calmed down. You decided to not think about it. You laid on Jake's chest.

"Im sorry." Jake suddenly said.

"for?" your mind is in a complete mess to the point you can't remember the arguement you both had yesterday.

"About me going to the mall with Hyejin..and not caring about your feelings" he said sadly.

"No, im sorry. i was being dramatic." you said facepalming.

"Actually i went to the mall with Hyejin to get you.." he dug his pocket and took out a long item. [hehheehheehheehehe]

"this." he showed you a necklace with heart-shaped ruby. You were speechless.

"I needed her opinion and i wanted to surprise you. But i didn't know you would be this upset" he giggled with his puppy smile.

"Im sorry" you cried in his arms.

"Here, let me wear it for you" he took the necklace and you turned around for him. The cold metal touch made you have goosebumps. You could feel his fingers tracing your neck. 

"I love it" you said, turning back to face him.

"Glad you do" he smiled and pat your head.

"So.. forgive me?" he hold your hands as he waits for an answer. You nod.

"About sunghoon, he's just...good looking okay. im saying it in general. Don't get the wrong idea. I love you idiot." you said, smacking his shoulder.

"I know i know. I was honestly jealous though" he said sulking.

'so it did work'

"yeah and i did say that to make you jealous anyway, tch." you admit.

"well it worked" he said while hugging you and putting his head on your lap.

"Okay get up. Let's do something fun" he got up and dragged you out of bed.

"like what?" you asked, feeling lazy to go out.
