10 : tragic

Your ears were ringing and you were laying on the ground. Not far away from you, you could see Hyejin trying to crawl up to you.

You grunt in pain as the ringing sounds slowly disappear. You sat up and saw the house, collapsed with huge black smokes coming out of it. You sat there, frozen. Hyejin crawled up to you and shook you.

"Hanee! Get your shit together! We have to get out of here! The smoke is too thick, we can die if we stay any longer!" she shook you, at the verge of crying.

You sat there while tears started dripping down, giving Hyejin no replies. She started pulling you further away from the house, you screamed and wailed to ask her to leave you alone.

Your sisters are gone. They've been bombed by their own mother. Your two precious sisters who you have just connected with. Your two only family.

Your pulse got faster and you were shaking from anger, sadness and shock. After pulling you away from the house, Hyejin called Jake, hoping he could hurry there and help you who was shaking with fear.

You were still sitting down, crying in disbelief. Beside you was Hyejin who has been trying to calm you down and get yourself together.

You could hear the police sirens and footsteps approaching you. You smelt a familiar scent and felt a hand on your shoulder. You look up with tears in your eyes. 

'Jake. He's here'

"Babe im here" he hugged you and assured you.

You burst into tears as he pulled you into a hug. You tried talking to explain everything but you couldn't say a word.

Your heart started beating so fast that you couldn't control your breathing anymore.

You felt suffocated and your vision started to get blurry. You grip onto Jake's shirt, wanting him to stay by your side. The world slowly got darker until it was completely dark.

-Jake POV-

"Hanee! Keep your eyes open!" you screamed as you saw Hanee's eyes getting smaller. You shake her motionless body.

"Get her to the hospital! I will handle the police" she instructed and you nod, picking her up in your arms.

'What the hell is this, that twisted fucking women'  

you cursed in your head at the thought of that women doing this to her own daughters. The thought of it makes you sick.

You ran and hailed a taxi.

"To the hospital please!" you quickly got in. You laid her head in your lap, praying for her to be safe.

"Hang in there baby, you will be fine" you hold her pale face.

-Hanee'S POV-

you felt numb. your head was hurting. Your eyes shoot open. The lights were blinding. You quickly adjust your eyes and notice your surroundings.

You looked beside your bed and saw Jake asleep. You moved your hand and Jake woke up.

"Babe! Thank god, my girl" he hugged you.

"Jake, my sisters. Where are they?" you cried.

"The cops have found them.." he looked down.

"Well where are they??" you cried, praying for them to be okay.

"They didn't make it" Jake hold you and clenched your hand. Your heart sank when you heard the news.

"No.. no.. she really did it. No.." you cried more. Jake comforted you.
