"Luke what-" before I finish my sentence, he grabbed me by the arm and drag me towards the music source.

'I'm suppose to put my job infront of you,'

"Surpriiiseee" his face is decorated with an ear-to-ear smile, his teeth showing and all that. There's Luke's car blasting Ed Sheeran-- my all time favourite human being-- with the trunk wide open and the backseat is flipped. "What's all this?"

'But it won't hold me, like you do.'

I walk towards his car and look inside. There I see food, pillows, books, suitcases-- wait. Is that my suitcase? "Why is my suitcase in your car? I swear to god if you're using for your stupid game I'm gonna flip." His grin grows even wider, walking towards me. "How about roadtrip?" Roadtrip? At this hour? "Don't worry, we're going tomorrow morning." How did he do that? He read my inner curiosity.

'But I do it for the love, waiting on the goldrush,'

"Well I don't know how to tell my sister-" "I already told her. I said we're going to a 3 weeks getaway and just in time for graduation." I am surprised at how fast he works. "Stop cutting me off. How about your show?"

'You know how to sing, but you don't know anything other than that.'

Just after I asked the question, three tall figures appear. "Of course. The three stooges is here." There standing right before, Luke's bandmates-- Soon-to-be bald, gorilla arms, and blond streak. "You're rude" Michael put on his pouty face-- which I hate the most. "You're going bald." We all laughed at my reply, even Mikey. I feel in such glee.

'So, maybe you should learn to love her.'

When I turn to face Luke he smiles with pure joy, staring at me like I'm a piece of rare 100 carat diamond.

'Like, like the way...'

I flash a smile back at him, and his face turns into a relax mode. Like the fight we had never happened, or even my breakdown earlier. The world just feels warm all of a sudden.

'You wanna be loved.'

the song is Goldrush by Ed Sheeran and i cut some of it bc too lazy to add stuff in and sorry for typos its late and im sleepy. the song fits lucas perfectly ya kno, and the song fits the situation between luke and kat atm im just ahhhh
