luke and i froze, we have just come home from our breakfast-trip-thing and the first thing we heard coming into the house was that question

"sorry?"

"did you guys kiss??"

i play with my thumbs, fiddling them, as luke slowly drops the keys onto the table

"i don't understand what that question was..?"

ashton rolled his eyes then dissapears.

i sit myself down onto the fluffy sofa, then turning on the tv

"good morning LA, today we have some wonderful–yet devastating news for a certain fandom.

5 seconds of summer band member luke hemmings was seen going into a burger king in downtown LA with a mysterious girl,

fans on twitter says they've never seen her before, perhaps, a new meat?

later on, we see the newly couple kiss in the said fast food chain's parking lot. wow, steamy!

"holy shit."

"what's wrong?" luke asks

"uh, i think you better check your phone... and all of your social media platform."

he tilt his head in confusion, then reaching for his phone. he open his instagram, twitter, messages, with a very shocked face

"how..."

"i know."

we just fell in silence as luke sit beside me, we just slouch ourselves and are currently confused.
there wasn't even anyone else in the parking lot?? how?

"aayyyy lukey booiii you finally kissed the girl! tell me everythi—"

i stare at calum and he closes his mouth, "i'll... just, ask him later."
he said as he back away slowly

"really, luke?"

"what?"

"you were planning on kissing me?"

"well, uh... more like a bet... cal betted that i couldn't kiss you, that i don't have the balls for it. but hey, he'll pay for whatever i want."

my mouth forms a smile that makes me giggle, he automatically smiles, too

"well," i shift closer towards him "you can bet calum that you can kiss me twice in a day."

i tug his t-shirt's collar and bring him closer to me, and kiss him deeply.
he seemed in shock, but immediately kiss me back.

then, we hear a camera shutter, pulling off of each other

"gotcha" says mike

he then ran away whilst giggling like a schoolgirl noticed by her senpai

luke sighs "can't we have privacy anywhere?"
i smile at him, and launch myself towards him, as he catches me and lie himself on the sofa

"i would love to be crushed by you any day of the week, but sadly i have to go and record some stuff."

i boop his nose as i sigh
"you're leaving me alone again"

luke hugs me tightly and burying his face in my hair, his arms not letting me move at all. for the moment, i enjoy this. when will i ever not enjoy his company?

"this time, i'll come back."

he smiles at me, a warm, genuine smile. and i can't help to think that i am so very lucky to have him as my best friend in the whole wide world, and i am very, very lucky to fall in love with him

i wish i had fallen for him sooner.
