'i'm in my happy place, i'm in my happy place, i'm in my happy place...'

i chanted those words in my mind, hoping something else will pop-up, to cover this. i hug my legs tighter, making them pressing to my chest. i rock myself frontwards and backwards.

i can't handle this. all this made me crazy and sad and mad.

"kath are you okay?" a familiar voice, the voice of a friend, the voice of a boy, asking me.

"yeah, i'm fine" i stand up and unlocking the door, heads down, hair covering all of my face

"are you fine now?" i nodded answering his question.

"good. now, do you wanna go home or to my house?"

"-house."

although i only have been to his house once, but i don't really care. his parents loves me anyway.

it's been like this for too long. i've been trying to forget him- but he's always there. whenever i'm on the point it's almost over, making me depressed and all that

"kath, we're here" i snapped away from my thoughts, walking towards his house. his house is a suburban house, i like it.
you know-backyard, pool, garden- a very suburban home.

"i'm home- hey! c'mere cinnamon who's a good girl? huh? you are!"

"luke, stop that. it's disgusting."
i said to him with my face of disgust

"welll dogs loves that"

"oh they do? i don't think so."

He smiles and drops his bag
"yeah well, do you wanna do your homework first or watch T-"
"TEEN WOLF TEEN WOLF"

."...i was about to say 'TV', but teens wolf's fine. let me grab some popcorn."

luke and i are always like this, we're so close. i first met him on his band's gig in this theatre hotel thingy. he was sixteen. and now his band is on the roof. they toured the world. luke quit highschool, i'm a year younger, but i'm already at year twelve. my graduation is in less than a month, and i'm going to go somewhere outside of australia.

so much is happening in a little time.
i wish time would stop.
i wish, i wish time stopped before he makes an impact in my life, so i won't feel that way. ever.

"kath it's on!"

i snapped and walk to the couch sitting next to him. his arm is locking my neck and resting on my shoulder, like a protective brother.

teen wolf was good, i never expected that. i was shocked.

"that was cool"

"yeah it was"

then theres this awkward silence.

"eh uhm, kath? i wanna tell you something..."
