𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐂𝐇 27, 2019."for it to be just us here we sure do fill up this trash can quicker than a cat can lick his ass." i said to bentley as i tied up the trash bag that was in the bin and prepared to take it out.
"..."
"hmph," i put my jacket on and picked the bag up, "you don't talk much, do you?"
"..."
i've been talking to this dog for the past month. i need some friends.
i sighed and walked out the front door, closing it behind me. i made my way to the dumpster and put the trash bag in there. as i made my way back to my apartment, i heard someone trying to get my attention. i turned and saw the boy from the playground, reggie. he was holding his daughter.
we hung out at his daughters birthday party a few weeks ago and he's been coming around ever since. he was a very cool person and he was good with the kids.
fuck them kids and that party ain't nobody feel like writing about allat.
"oh hey." i smiled.
"wassup? yo' ass so hard to find." he laughed.
"i barely come outside unless amoura's here." i told him and he nodded.
"i be wanting to knock at yo' door but ion know if that's weird." he said and i shook my head as we began walking back to my apartment.
"nah it's not weird. i like you."
"you like me?"
"not like that. like as a friend." i laughed.
"amoura here yet?" he asked. as we walked up the stairs.
"they should be close." i told him. amoura and jori were having a play date at my house. jayden and india were okay with it, they were happy amoura finally had someone down here to play with. they even stayed over for a few play dates before.
"you like this shit?" he asked as soon as we walked in. i followed his gaze and saw he was looking at my tv which was playing all american.
"yea it's cool. i understand the point of the show, but these layla and olivia characters are being passed around by everybody and nobody is saying anything as if that's normal." i scoffed.
"i just cant get into the shit." he said, walking over to the couch.
"so what do you watch?" i picked up the remote and lowered the volume on the tv. i always had it sky high when i was alone.
"nun specific. whatever jori watch, i watch. when she with her grandma ion watch tv like that. only time i'll have the tv on is if i want some background noise." he explained and i nodded as i straightened up the living room since bentley didn't know how to keep his area clean.
"she lives with her grandma?" i asked and he nodded.
"her mama be doin' college on campus and shit so she be back and forth between me and her grandma." he said.
