ANSHUMAN.

I heard someone knocking at my door. When I asked to come in. My secretary walked inside. He bowed to me. "Sir we had a call from someone stating his name as Rehman Singh. He said to inform you." I heard him announcing while I wasn't paying attention to him. Making me turn to look at his face at the information he gave me. I was shocked.

Why would Rehman call me?

Is Siyansha, okay?

"Rehman? What did he say?" I asked my secretary for my all attention with ears and eyes on him. "He asked me to tell you, to call him. He wanted to talk to you. But you were in a conference." He told me hesitatingly. As I nodded,

"Pass me the call," I told him, standing in my seat.

After everything I had to leave to receive the ceremony. And four days later I had to leave. Rehman didn't let me meet Siya once after everything. I did try. But he kept me away. Why is he calling me now?

In a minute the secretary handed me the phone. I picked up the phone. "I broke our engagement and friendship." He suddenly spoke, making me shock.

"Why are you informing me that?" I asked him over his suddenness. When he continued.

"Siyansha will be back in India in days," he kept continuing the things I don't have any relation with.

"So?" I asked him, making him sigh.

"Please take care of her."

Wait? Did he ask me? He didn't let me meet her. And now he wants me to take care of her? And who am I to do so? Ex-husband? I don't think that makes me eligible for that.

"What do you mean?" I asked him trying to find reasons in his words.

"She is not a bad woman. She is just in a bad situation. And she has to be like that so no one can trample on her. There are many people behind her. You know that already." He kept continuing things I was unsure of. "And you know her company is under the drain so she is penniless. She won't take help from me. So you must take care of her. Please."

"And you think she will take from me?" I asked him. Unsure.

"Probably no. But she crumbles over continued attempts. If you will keep asking her. She will do so." He shared with me tips??

He? Rehman? Who doesn't let people come between her and him?

"Rehman. Did you send her something? You said she is penniless?" I asked him when I heard his silence. "No, she left throwing some dollars she had with her. And her purse and bags are all in my house. I am waiting for her to come back. But I know she won't, so I have people spread to find her." He calmly told me.

Making my eyes shit open in disbelief. How can he be calm right now? When Siya is out with not a single penny with her. "What if she is hungry or thirsty?" I asked him. When he was again silent.

"Everything is not always served on a plate. Sometimes you have to fight for them. And she has to learn it."

Is this a moral class time? Siya was out with nothing in her hand? And you say that crap?? I wanted to scream this in his face. But I decided to hold back.

"Fine. I don't know what you mean by taking care of her. But I will try." I said and wanted to hang up.

"Also, inform Saya Hari. That I broke up with her. So she will stop sending goons to kill her."

Saya Hari?

He broke up with her? For Saya Hari?

Is he stupid?

No! Maybe, Siya has a magnet around her to call for losers.

That's why she first got me, and then him. "You are the worst," I said as I cut the call. Handing my phone to my secretary, "Send someone to the airport to stay there for days and check all the flights that come from the USA. Ask them to escort Siya. To the house in West Hill." He was shocked. And of course, the news will find its way in Saya Hari's ears. Through him or someone else by her spies around me. But then he bowed and left.

And from what I know. She will never reach West Hill's house. Because she will be kidnapped by her before.

That's how she works.

I was typing when I heard my phone ringing, picking up without looking at the caller ID.

I heard Rehman. His voice cracked, groaning, his loud breath coming out from the speaker. When he yelped in pain, I heard a loud metal throwing on the floor.

My legs shaking and my hands were cold. My mind was blank. Again a huge shot happened. When I heard some laughter and him screaming again.

"Rehman!!" I murmured hard with my voice not coming out of me. "Reh-Rehman?" I asked to hear from him.

After hearing some laughter and boots walking away, I heard him groaning and murmuring.

"S- siy- siya!" I couldn't believe my ears when I picked up the other phone on my desk finding a station not around their place's area on the internet, dialing. When I heard another screaming voice.

Siya. Was there.

She came back. Thank god. I heard her coming close when she picked up the call. "Ansh-" She murmured slowly. And the call was cut.

It was cut.

She didn't didn't cut it. She was about to speak.

The goons didn't leave. Did they?
