Jenny woke up after restin' for a few minutes , she knew that now she feels better.
She closed her eyes and thanked God also she thanked for the guy who helped her from fallin'.
She didn't know who exactly helped her, she didn't see his face..
She went into the washroom got fresh, she sprinkled some cold water on her face, she changed from surgeon's dress into her casual dress and wore her Apron.... Which came down till her mid-tigh and was full sleeved, it was medium in size for her... Not too fit, nor too loose... So that she could do free movements....
Duh! While some doctors had fit aprons.
She stepped out of the washroom and walked to her desk, drank some water and thought to go for a round and check on patients, she thought to herself that - "I'll eat later once I'm done with the round, so that I can be rest assured, knowin' that my patients are doin' well."
She held the notepad in her left hand while she placed stethoscope around her neck..., while she was takin' all the things needed Dr. Sal greeted her and asked her if she was goin' on a round... So, that he would accompany her.
She said to Dr. Sal -" Yeah, sure"
She rang the bell on her desk and a nurse showed up... She gave her thermometers, asked her to take a vessel, so that used thermometers won't get mixed up with others.... N asked her to wash them later in warm water... The nurse nodded and answered" sure, Ma'am
Jenny sighed.... And the nursed corrected "sure Jennifer."
Jenny also gave her blood - pressure monitor i.e. Sphygmomanometer.
The nurse carried everything into a trolley and joined both Doctors on round.
They checked on around 20 patients, she greeted everyone of them with a good smile. she noted their measures, and kept encouraging them and their families, ever family member was rest assured when she told them about the patient's recovery speed and progress...
Finally she visited the patient who got operated early mornin'. She walked in and greeted the patient with a beautiful smile and said - "Hello Mr. Drake, tell me how do you feel , Is there any difficulty breathin'?."
He smiled at her and said -" I do feel better. No there's absolutely no difficulty breathin'."
She exclaimed -" Oh well! That's Good. Very Good."
She asked the nurse to check his temperature and blood pressure, while she checked his heart rate from the monitor and checked his beat, she noted the measures and asked-" Mr. Drake where are your family members?"
He answered - oh they, I mean my son and his friend just walked out before you came in. "
She sighed and said -" Oh okay.
Mr. Drake your progress rate is good. I'm happy to see that you feel better.
Just note this- if there's any problem just quickly ask someone to reach a doctor for you. Okay!? "
Mr. Drake said-" yes I will, Thank you Doctor. _"
Jenny told him to eat somethin' light and asked him to take proper rest, while she gave the nurse a list of medicines to be given and injected.
She, she was walkin' out discussing with Dr. Sal, she bumped into this strong guy.
She stumbled a few- two or three steps back, while this man ( Gabriel) held her...
She quickly said Sorry and also said thank you for holdin' her... Before lookin' at him.
While Gabriel said," sorry, ... Yeah! Your welcome.
At once they looked at each other and realized that they have seen each other before.... And realized that it was at Cupid's.
Gabriel smiled and asked Jennifer -" How do you feel doctor, Is your dizziness gone? "
Jennifer smiles back and says - "Oh yeah, bout' that I feel good, so that was you, who helped me back then... Well! Thankyou so much Mr. _____ what?
He mentioned Gabriel, it's Gabriel my name."
"Well! Mr. Gabriel... She says.. I'm Dr. Jennifer and its Good to tell you that your father Mr. Drake is doin ' absolutely well, he's showin' good signs of progress and a good recovery speed.... Which is amazin'.
But we would like to check his progress for other 2 days and would confirm and tell you about when he can be discharged.
Well, Mr. Gabriel you should serve him somethin' light to eat. Okay!! "
Quickly Said Gabriel -" Yeah! Sure thank you Dr. Jenny. "
She hmms and says" sorry..?? "
He repeated -" Dr. Jenny that is..
She smiles and says - yeah, yeah that would do tooo... But just to make you remember it's Jennifer. "
And she leaves with a smile.
Gabriel keeps callin' out her name in a low voice.... And he, he was on the top of the world, he was, was happy, he had big smile on his face knowin' that he actually talked to her... And to know that her name was Jennifer and not Sarah.
He sits beside his old man and tells him that he was doin' just fineee.....
Khushboo comes with Leo and Max and asks Gabriel about how Drake was doin'?
He fills her in with every single thin' the doc said.
Khushboo smiles and asks Gabriel and Nathan to go back home and rest for a while...
Gabriel and Nathan smiled back... Before Gabriel could say anything... Khushboo said - "Son I insist..."
Gabriel nodded and walked out of the hospital building with Nathan.
While Nathan groaned and Said - "let's eat somethin' I'm starvin' and even you haven't eaten anythin' since yesterday mornin's breakfast....."
See there's a canteen.
Gabriel hummed and they went into the canteen, it was clean and hygienic
They ordered somethin' to eat and sat on the table which had four attached chairs and other tables were full.
Dr. Jennifer entered the canteen and she ordered her food as well, because she was done with her round and was now rest assured so she decided to eat and boost her energy as soon as she turned back she saw that there was no place to sit accept for one table which had 2 chairs empty, she ambled her way to that table and saw Gabriel and his friend sittin'.
She greeted him and requested him, if she could please sit with them, as there was no vacant table to sit, Gabriel quiclky got up and said "Yeah yeah I mean sure Dr. Jenny, sure please u may sit"
She smiled and said thank you, he smiled back .
He Introduced Nath to Jenny. Soon their orders were on the table.
Jennifer closed her eyes bowed and prayed within, she hummed at the sweet aroma that tickled her nose....
Gabriel giggled slowly and couldn't take his eyes off her... But he knew that obviously she shouldn't take him as a jerk or perverted minded man, so he started eatin' his order.... While Nath was totally into the order.
Gabriel asked Jenny about how she lost her balanced in the mornin'.
She answered -" Oh! Felt dizzy and weak... I didn't sleep well the other night and didn't eat proper food after havin' yesterday's mornin' breakfast so....
Well, Mr Gabriel.."
He cuts in and says "please call me Gabriel" just Gabriel.
She says - "Oh right Gabriel it is.... So Gabriel did u and Nathan visit Cupid's for the first time yesterday?"
Gabriel and Nathan together - "yeah first time."
Nathan said I'll get some more it's yum n I'm gonna get us some water bottles and he left.
Jenny said to Gabriel - "Well hey! I'm sorry to ask you this, like I don't know if I should be askin' you this, don't get me wrong... But I saw a drop of tear glistening in your eye, while on the other hand you seemed happy."
Gabriel got a little nervous and stumbled at his words-" yea... Yeah yeahhhh just- yeah I was Happy yesterday. "
Jenny simply smiles and says" it's okay Gabriel... U don't have to talk about it if you don't want to... Trust me it's okay. "
Gabriel nods in response
Nath joins them....
Soon they finished eatin'
And they saw each other off...
Jenny took off to her home... So did Gabriel and Nathan.
