Gabriel's POV
"Oh my GOD!!!" Sarah and Nath both exclaimed in excitement, and shock.
"Babe my dear Jennifer, oh look at you, so exquisite and dazzling and pulchritudinous and, and, and ohhhh so beautiful." blurted Sarah.
She came running and hugged Jenn.
She hugged me and exclaimed in a loud voice "Oh look at you, Gabriel so immaculate, statuesque, u look handsome."
"Yes u both look marvelous and ravishing, so delicate, delightful"
Appraised Nath.
He hugged both of us and we group hugged.
Nath said "Well, almost everyone's here already, only you two, the most famous people aren't there yet, everyone's waitin' to see you two, so comeon let's go".
"Ummm yeah, we'll be there in a couple of minutes." I said.
Jenn looked at me.
Nath said "oh okay, be quick."
"Yeah sure" I nodded while Jenn smiled.
We walked to the livin' room.
I hugged Jenn and she hugged me back...
I prayed for us, for this beautiful day, and Important day, for our relation, for our engagement.
I also asked Jenn to pray for us both.
She smiled, she also had these tears glistening in her eyes.
"Yeah I will, sure"
She prayed " Loving Heavenly Father, we come to You together on this special occasion of our engagement, giving You our grateful thanks that You brought us together, in love. Keep us united in love to each other and to You, and help us to keep You in the rightful place in our hearts and in our lives.
You are the God of love and we thank You Lord, that You have caused such a deep love for each other to develop between us. We want to dedicate our future together to You, Lord.
Be with us Lord, as we grow closer together, and as we make our plans for the future, we ask that You would guide us and direct us in all our decisions. Lord, we desire to be pure in Your sight and chaste in each others company, and pray that you would keep us from temptation.
Unite us in love and peace and teach us Your ways as You guard us and guide us. And just as You poured out a special blessing on the young couple in Cana of Galilee, we pray that You would bless our union, bless our engagement. Bless us Lord, from this day forward and for evermore.
In Jesus' name we pray,
Amen."
Both me and Jenn said yes and Amen to the prayer.
We looked each other in the eye and smiled and said " Love you"
She wiped my tears while, I wiped hers.
I held her hand in mine and kissed the back of her palm, she kissed mine too.
Trust me, it's so hard to express what I feel at the moment, I'm just so, so, so blessed and so happy.
We both hold each other's hand, and we walked down the stairs and made an entrance.
Everyone present here for this day, to bless us, looked at us... All eyes were on us, I held Jenn's hand tightly, she looked at me, smiled and calmed me down... I now felt comfortable.
Everyone greeted us, congratulated us... And blessed us, soon it was time for the engagement ceremony.
I could feel my heart beat rising, I was happy yet nervous.
Praise and worship team were leading us in worship, it was so beautiful to watch, to feel God's presence, the evenin' was cold, but God's presence made us feel warmer.
After the worship, Pastor John took over the ceremony.
He talked to us, Gave us Word of God for our special day, for our engagement.
He said "And the Lord said to him, "I have heard your prayer and your plea, which you have made before me. I have consecrated this house that you have built, by putting my name there forever. My eyes and my heart will be there for all time."1kings 9:3
God has heard your prayer Gabriel and Jennifer, he knows everything about you, everything that U've been through, and at this moment let me tell you , u both are chosen for each other, not by me, or by any man, but By GOD THE ALMIGHTY.!!!
