It felt like hours for Rachel and the group to get back to school, but in reality it was only a twenty minute drive. Lima wasn't exactly big. The group entered the school during lunch, with everyone's eyes setting onto them as they enter. Something that sent a cold shiver down Rachel's spine. As if everyone knew something was wrong.

It made sense, even normal humans can sense something wrong with the supernatural. They never knew exactly, but they would always feel uneasy when something was afoot.

"Why is everyone staring at us?" Quinn asks, glaring at every single person with a death stare.

"Just ignore them." Rachel says soothingly, quickly squeezing Quinn's shoulder as she begins walking through the school. Finn and Blaine head towards the right, and the rest turn left leaving Rachel to walk alone.

Eventually, she finds Brittany at her locker, sifting through her books. "Hey, Brittany." Rachel says with a small smile, walking over and planting herself next to the blonde girl.

"Hey." Brittany offers her own small smile. "Santana is in a mood." She adds, causing Rachel to sigh.

"I'm sorry. I... I just got caught up in what was happening. And I could feel Quinn's pain." Rachel defends herself.

"You don't need to explain yourself to me." Brittany states. "But you do need to explain yourself to Santana."

"Yeah, that's what I am afraid of." Rachel chuckles as she brushes her hair to the side.

"Don't worry about it. She'll forgive you." Brittany tells Rachel as she closes her locker. "Probably." Brittany smirks before walking off. Rachel let out a sigh as she pressed her back to the locker, before pushing herself off and goes off to find Santana.

Rachel was definitely surprised to find Santana in the library. She didn't strike as a bookworm to Rachel, but people do surprise you. Rachel took a deep breath and straightened her back before walking over.

"Hey." Rachel says as soft as she could. As if Santana was a timid cat she was afraid of scaring off. Santana simply looks up for a second before returning to her book, not saying a single word, flipping to the next page. Rachel sighs before walking over and sitting next to Santana. "Look, you have every right to be pissed with me. I was a bitch."

"You have my attention." Santana says, bringing her eyes up to meet Rachel's, leaning back slightly in her chair.

"It's just... We were in the middle of a mission. And Quinn was in trouble. I could feel all her pain, Santana. It made me... Short fused." Rachel explains. "And what I said, I said out of fear and anger. I didn't mean it."

"I was just trying to help you, Rachel. If I wasn't there, you'd of died." Santana responds, her voice slightly softer now.

"Yes, I was well aware of the situation. I know you saved me. I was just in my hunter state of mind. The mission was all I could think about. Add Quinn into the mix, and I was a hot bowl of bitch." Rachel says, causing Santana to chuckle slightly. Rachel took that as a good sign.

"Maybe I shouldn't of been so... Well, me." Santana admits. "I just saw you about to die. And all I could think about was taking you to safety, Rachel. All I cared about was making sure you were so far away from it. And when you said you'd kill me, it hurt. But... I understand that you have a job to do."

"Thank you for understanding, Santana." Rachel smiles as she finds her and Santana's hand intertwined. She wasn't even sure when it happened. If she had initiated it, or Santana did.

"I'm sorry I took you away from Quinn, I didn't realise how painful that was for you."

"There's no way you could of known, Santana." Rachel comforts Santana as she squeezes her hand. "How did you know where we were, anyway?" Rachel asks.
