Kailana(P.O.V.) My family just left and i was in my dorm finishing up situatiing everything, i was the only one here so far until i heard a couple voices in the front room i went out there to see three girls whom were all pretty, when they seen me all of them squelled and jumped up and down.
"hi guy's im Kailana feel free to call me kai" i said waving
"oh my god your hair is on fleek, im paulina" the girl said, she was tall and looked to be very hipster like a taylor swift but with brown hair, i smiled and waved
"i'm kennedy, but i go by snuggle bunns always been called that since i was little" the mixed girl said she was pretty, i feel me and her would get along best her hair was long and curly and she was short and thick
"im britana" the blonde girl said she looked to have a stank attitude but i cant judge anyone but my self so i just smiled
"so whose sharing a room with me" i asked, kennedy raised her hand and pushed her boxes in the room, i smiled and helped her
"girl we gotta stick together, and i dont think that girl britana was feeling me so i'm gonna go witchu any ways where you from tell me about yourself" she said smiling
"i'm from olympia here in washington, um my mom is korean and black and my dad is spanish um i have 3 older brothers im closest with the one that irritates me the most which is kaimari but were all close in age, kaimari is 26 and im 18 the twins which are the second oldest are Kaison and Kailarse who are 24 both married and have 1 kid so far and all of my brothers went here the twins both came for business and kaimari came for music and graduated a couple years back and i'm here for journalism so, tellme about you though" i smiled
"um i'm for oakland cali, my mom is white but black on the inside, and my dad is black but he died 3 years ago of lung cancer, um i have a sister and shes 23 her name is miranda but i dont here from her really she's a stripper i guess so i'm kind of the golden child of the family um im a capircorn and im 18 as well just turned 18, i'm newly single my boyfriend and i broke up last weekend cause he was caught fucking with a hoe and i was like oh well nigga boo bye im going out of state anyways and uh here we are oh and im here for creative writing so" she said chuckling
"oh girl i'm sorry for your loss- gco
"girl it was 3 years ago it's okay, my dady made me who i am today and i know he's proud of me" she said smiling, i smiled and checked my phone for no reason
"oh shit i heard there was a party tonight trynna roll with me" she asked , i nodded and we talked more about highschool and why we chose SU as our college, hours went by and i checked my phone seeing it was already 8:30
"um snuggle bunns what time does that party start?" i asked
"um 10:00 i think" she said
"so lets get ready" i said getting up, i walked to my small wadrobe thing and grabbed my black lace bralette crop top and my black highwaisted leather leggings finishing the look with my black strapy heels , i looked over and seen kennedy with a black mesh croptop on and blue boyfriend jeans with a slit underneath the left ass cheek and black snadal heels , we both showered and got dressed and started on our hair she just brushed her's up in a bun and i curled mine and did my make up, we both looked stunning
"we're definetly gonna be the baddest bitches in there" snuggs said
i nodded "no really cause were the definition of slaying" i said laughing, we took a quick picture for the gram and twitter and grabbed our phone clutches and keys
"bye girls" i said, i heard a muffled bye and closed the door, we walked or more like strutted down the hallway and too the elevator, when it opend it was like half of the building was on there
"ya'll going to the party too?" snuggs asked getting a nod and hell yeahs from everyone
"anyone trynna swoop though?" i asked cause we searched the place on my phone and its like a 15 minute walk from our dormitory that im not trynna walk especially if i get a little faded tonight
"i will" a tall brownskin fine ass dude said
"oh shit you can swoop on home just me and you boo" snuggs said, she honestly reminds me of alexus thats why we clicked so fast, i love her spunk she's pretty and outgoing and smart, witty and funny just spending a couple hours with her made me feek like we were friends for a lifetime, i love when i meet people like that.
the boy chuckled "whats are your names?" he said while we stepped off the elevator to the parking lot of the dormitory, he clicked the unlock button to his Jeep and we hopped in, on the ride there, we found out his name was jamal, he was from phoneix Arizona, he came up here to study some sports med thing he wanted to be an athletic trainor and some day own a business or work for the NBA , he plays basketball and will be playing for SU and he was 18
"yall ready" he asked when he parked
"um hell fucking yeah" snuggs said, we walked inside and it was dark as hell in the room just flashing colored lights, and it was hot in there we made our way through the crowd and to the middle of the dance floor and danced to "i like tuh" by carnage , i was feeling myself until someone bumped me down
