⚠️. 3RD PERSON’S POV

What Grazer said came true. Collin thought.

Grazer’s instincts never failed to amuse her and at the same time, disappoint her. Collin didn’t listen at first, knowing the younger is only feeling a swirl-wind of doubts and fear inside her.

“God, I’m sorry. I thought this was it but I was wrong” Sage cried out when the situation turned upside down and far from what they expected.

The tower they found wasn’t the quarantine headquarter’s tower, it was a built camp owned by  bandits. The beacon light they saw is used for luring survivors into their camp so they could torture, use and feed them to the undead in order to save their camp and keep theirselves safe from those flesh-eating monsters.

In short, the zombies feed on these survivors making them listen to the feeders who fills their hunger while these bandits starts a feasts where they unleash few undeads who are under their control.

It has gotten pretty sinister. They refused to believe that they are bandits because these people are insanely out of their minds, it’s like madness took over them fully that they were feeding innocent people to the undeads just to secure their own safety.

“Si Cameron lang dapat problema natin pero bakit tayo napunta rito? edi pangalawang problema pa” Stormy implied with her tone lower than a whisper.

“We can’t blame Sage, it was what the map said at alam kong may tinatago itong mga ito sa camp nila” they all turned to Millan who spoke, her hands were shaking from behind.

“What are you doing? baka patayin ka nila pag tumakas ka” Mavis said and tried stopping the other who was still in the process of cutting the ropes tied around their hands.

“Mills...natanggal na yung akin pero bago mo kalagan sina Collin, sabihin mo muna plano” Grazer was smart on realizing what Millan is actually doing.

She asked for a plan as Millan whispered everything she had in mind with the others carefully listening to her.

Grazer then untied herself before untying the others in a speed, too fast and careful not to be seen or heard by one of the bandits guarding them.

Millan is already up on her feet, slowly walking towards one guard backfacing her. The guard wasn’t holding any gun or weapon with him, so Millan thought they can outnumber them but not in that way.

“They must be good in martial combat kaya wala silang dalang baril o kung ano man” Collin whispers enough for the others to hear. They became wary of Millan’s silent movements because they couldn’t approach and back up for her.

Jacen eyed two men in the front and nudged Stormy, signalling her for a silent attack but Stormy shook her head in disagreement, afraid of
what may happen if they were seen by those guards.

Asteria saw the commotion between the two and asked them to stay still as one of the guards are already eyeing them from afar.

“Pwede ba? tumahimik kayong dalawa dahil pinagtitinginan kayo” Mavis whisper-yells and kicked both Stormy and Jacen who kept throwing banters towards each others.

Bwisit, nag-aaway na naman sila. Collin thought before heaving a sigh.

Grazer already untied them but they couldn’t move an inch from their spots knowing that with one single movement, they will alert the bandits.

Meanwhile Millan was halfway there, she walked behind the guard and in one swift move. She horridly snapped the man’s neck, falling unconscious and before his body could reach the ground, Millan caught it and shove it on the side where no one will see it.
